Role Summary and Impact
We are looking for an experienced Senior SEO Consultant who wishes to join a stimulating and evolving environment. The ideal candidate will drive the evolution and integration of SEO into complex, performance-driven, and data-based marketing strategies, often in digital transformation contexts.
The Senior SEO Consultant will define, lead and oversee comprehensive strategic SEO initiatives, including technical optimization, content and off-site. This role involves managing projects to achieve goals for prestigious clients, working closely with members of the SEO team, web analysts and account teams to perfectly integrate SEO strategies with other digital marketing initiatives for a holistic, data-driven approach.
The candidate must have in-depth expertise in analysing and interpreting search intent, with the ability to translate users' implicit and explicit needs into strategic recommendations for content development, information architecture and website functionality
Responsibilities
- Leading the development and implementation of strategic SEO initiatives based on data insights to maximize impact, focus on client's goals.
- Lead in-depth data analysis to extract strategic insights, formulate actionable recommendations, and supervise advanced reporting, with a focus on key business performance indicators.
- Implement and test optimization techniques for Large Language Models (GEO and AEO), refining the structure and semantics of content to maximize visibility and relevance in generative search responses.
- Ensure strategic integration of SEO with other digital marketing levers (SEA, Content Marketing, UX, CRM, Analytics, CRO, Data & Tech strategy) across multi-channel and multi-country contexts.
- Manage and coordinate the consultants assigned to projects. Oversee tasks and deadlines to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5-6 years of SEO experience, with proven experience in managing projects and teams.
- In-depth knowledge of all SEO assets (on-page, off-page, technical, content, off-site) and search engine algorithms.
- Expertise in web analytics (GA4, Adobe Analytics), data visualization (Looker Studio, Power BI), and advanced data analysis for strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as it relates to SEO, and knowledge of various CMS.
- Mastery of common SEO tools (Google Search Console, Semrush, BrightEdge, Ahrefs, Lumar, Screaming Frog, etc.).
- Knowledge of AI/Machine Learning applications to improve automation on SEO projects.
- Experience in analysis and optimisation to increase visibility on LLMs (GEO-AEO)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with excellent proficiency in English. A second language is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and presentation tools (PowerPoint/Google Slides) for high-level reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating both autonomy and strong teamwork.
- Excellent project management and time management skills, combined with outstanding organisational, problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully meet deadlines.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good proficiency in English (both oral and written) is mandatory due to international projects; a second European language is a significant plus.
