Role Summary and Impact
In this senior leadership role, the Senior Manager, Strategy will be responsible for defining the overarching strategic vision and positioning across key international client accounts. The candidate will act as the principal strategic consultant for C-Suite client stakeholders and internal executive teams, driving high-impact integration of data science, content, and retail commerce. This position requires a visionary mindset to foster digital innovation, secure new business, and lead and mentor the agency's strategic talent.
Skills and Experience
- Define and lead the long-term communication strategy and strategic roadmaps for high-profile global and local clients.
- Oversee the collaboration with Data Science and global insight networks to uncover industry-shifting consumer insights.
- Direct the creation of annual plans, Masterbrand positioning, and integrated media/e-commerce strategic planning.
- Lead high-stakes strategic deliverables, strategic pitches, and new business developments across the agency.
- Act as the key strategic advisor for client C-levels, senior leadership, and global stakeholders, ensuring market alignment.
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of strategy managers, promoting professional development and team performance.
- Drive agency-wide innovation, designing thought-leadership pieces and testing advanced attribution and research methodologies.
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in communication planning, with a strong emphasis on strategy within media agencies.
- Proven experience in strategic account management and relationship-building with senior-level client counterparts.
- Advanced skills in interpreting market data, research methodologies, and complex measurement tools.
- Flawless communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English (mandatory requirement).
- Visionary approach to leadership, encouraging intelligent risk-taking, collaborative problem-solving, and team development.
- Demonstrated capabilities in leading digital transformation and leveraging AI to drive business growth and operational automation.
