SEO Manager
About the Role:
Are you passionate about driving organic growth and elevating web visibility on a global scale? Wrike is looking for a highly skilled SEO Manager to help lead the charge in expanding our organic reach through advanced, innovative SEO strategies. This is a unique opportunity to go beyond traditional SEO and play a pivotal role in shaping our approach to AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and AI-driven search initiatives.
You'll work hands-on with another experienced SEO Manager, forming a dynamic duo focused on strategic execution—no people management required, just pure impact.
Your Impact:
- Lead Advanced SEO Initiatives: Drive comprehensive technical, international (localized content & hreflang), and AI-search optimization strategies to boost visibility across both traditional search engines and next-gen LLM-powered platforms.
- Scale Global SEO: Collaborate on localization workflows to implement scalable SEO solutions across multiple languages and markets.
- Technical Excellence: Conduct in-depth technical analyses using crawling, log analysis, schema optimization, and site architecture improvements to enhance indexability and ranking signals.
- Data-Driven Keyword Analysis: Perform advanced keyword research, SERP behavior analysis, intent clustering, and content-gap modeling to uncover new opportunities for both organic and AI/AEO surfaces.
- On-Page & Off-Page Optimization: Execute strategies including content and metadata optimization, structured data enhancements, backlink evaluation, and conversion-focused improvements.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze large data sets to discover new opportunities, monitor SEO effectiveness, and present actionable insights to leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with content, marketing operations, and other teams to benchmark performance, analyze the competitive landscape, and drive continuous improvement.
- Innovative Testing: Guide and support experiments to enhance our web entities and content based on comprehensive analysis.
Your Qualifications:
- 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience with a passion for continuous learning and innovation.
- Creative and strategic thinker who is self-motivated and proactive.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills—able to clearly and succinctly articulate ideas in English and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
- Solid understanding of search engine mechanics and emerging AI search behaviors (AEO/GEO).
- Ability to work autonomously within a small, agile, and high-impact SEO team.
- Autonomy to define experiments, run tests, and make decisions that move SEO and AI search visibility forward.
Standout Qualities:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Familiarity with referral, direct, and organic traffic channel behavior.
- Experience optimizing the customer journey.
- Project management skills.
- Understanding of enterprise-level technical SEO challenges.
- Experience with multi-language SEO, hreflang implementation, or localization workflows.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience working on AI search optimization (LLM citations, brand mentions, prompt discovery).
- Experience managing SEO at enterprise scale (multi-folder architecture, 10K+ URLs, complex internal linking).
- Ability to build and manage relationships with web teams, design, and content teams to ship SEO-impacting changes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
