About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced NetSuite Developer to own and evolve our NetSuite environment end-to-end. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain customizations and integrations that streamline our finance and operations processes, ensuring NetSuite effectively supports Wrike’s growth and strategic objectives.

Your Impact:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.0), SuiteFlow, and saved searches to support business workflows.
  • Build and maintain RESTlet-based integrations and web services to connect NetSuite with internal and external systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve NetSuite-related technical issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation for all customizations, configurations, and integrations.
  • Participate in code reviews, enforce development best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of our NetSuite development standards.
  • Stay current with new NetSuite features, SuiteCloud capabilities, and industry best practices, proactively recommending enhancements.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a NetSuite Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.0 (Client, Server, Scheduled Scripts, RESTlets).
  • Extensive experience with SuiteFlow workflows and saved searches.
  • Solid understanding of NetSuite customization capabilities, SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF), and deployment processes.
  • Proven experience integrating NetSuite with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Background in software development with strong JavaScript and SQL skills; familiarity with web services concepts (REST/SOAP, JSON, XML).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders.
  • NetSuite certifications (e.g., SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer) are a plus.

  • Experience designing robust, secure, and scalable integration architectures between NetSuite and multiple business systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business processes into efficient technical solutions within NetSuite.
  • Strong ownership mindset with a track record of driving projects from requirements through deployment and support.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control for NetSuite (e.g., Git with SDF-based deployments).
  • Ability to challenge requirements constructively and propose better alternatives based on product and technical understanding.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment with distributed teams and multiple stakeholders.

Team Dynamics:

  • You will collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Sales Operations, and other key business stakeholders who rely on NetSuite for their daily operations.
  • You will report to the [Hiring Manager Title, e.g., “Manager, Business Systems” or “Director of Enterprise Applications”].
  • You will partner with other Business Systems / Enterprise Applications team members, data engineers, and integration specialists to deliver end-to-end solutions.

  • Version control (e.g., Git) and standard development workflows (branching, code review, CI/CD where applicable)
  • Collaboration tools such as Wrike, Slack, and Confluence for project management and documentation
  • You’ll work in an iterative, feedback-driven environment, partnering closely with business stakeholders to prioritize and deliver enhancements that create measurable impact.
