Full Stack Software Engineer Intern (Remote - US)
Wurl is seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineering Intern to join our dynamic engineering team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in developing and maintaining software solutions that power our AdTech and CTV platforms. You will work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to projects that impact millions of viewers.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with corresponding unit tests.
- Develop and maintain documentation for software features and functionality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in AdTech and CTV.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or Go.
- Understanding of common data structures and algorithms.
- Familiarity with web development technologies frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Knowledge of database systems (SQL).
- Understanding of software development methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
A Plus if You Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of AdTech technologies and concepts.
- Familiarity with CTV platforms and OTT (Over-The-Top) video streaming applications.
