Senior Manager, Paid Social

At WeightWatchers, the Global Marketing team this team is composed of many different arms that work cross functionally to spread the word and promote our company as well as our services and offerings. From performance and brand to product, licensing and communications they all have a tangible impact on the business and our growth.

What You Will Do

As the Senior Social Manager, you will lead WeightWatchers in-house Paid Social media buying team. You will oversee a multi-million dollar investment, taking charge of both near-term and long-term business outcomes. Your passion for the business will drive your leadership in directing all Paid Social initiatives, conducting data analysis, overseeing reporting, and managing projects on a global scale (10 countries). Your pivotal role will be instrumental in enhancing WW’s Paid Social strategy, ensuring we acquire both new and returning WW users efficiently. You will consider not just platform optimizations, but how social engages with the full media mix to drive the business to achieve its goals. This position demands a results-oriented mindset coupled with strong leadership skills to grow each individual team member.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead WW’s Paid Social program, optimizing toward ambitious performance goals through strategic campaign management, rigorous testing and learning, assessment of bid strategies and targeting, and optimization toward overall LTV/ROAS.
  • Be the key business decision-maker and problem solver for all matters relating to Paid Social, addressing challenges that require deep analysis/research and a strong understanding of industry trends and organizational landscape.
  • Manage, mentor, train, and provide guidance to a team of 4 Social Managers and Associates whilst ensuring all team tasks are correctly prioritized and completed to a high standard.
  • Take ownership of the social budget, optimizing global investment based on business objectives and both market and platform performance. Ensure marketing costs are properly planned and accounted for and oversee team tasks such as invoicing and actualizing.
  • Forecast results (Signups, CAC, Revenue) on a weekly basis and update forecasts based on optimizations.
  • Drive comprehensive reporting and analysis to accurately gauge channel performance against targets, delivering and presenting insights with broader teams and leadership.
  • Develop and execute a robust testing plan in collaboration with measurement teams to uncover optimization opportunities across various tactics within the channel, including creative, landing page optimization, audience testing, incrementality, bidding types, and more.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders such as other performance leads (Search, Affiliate, Programmatic, Video), Site Marketing & Promotions, Brand, and Creative
  • Act as subject matter expert on paid social, providing direction for activating against large scale company initiatives, ensuring these tasks are translated into actionable campaigns that support both the brand and performance.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external partners such as Meta, Reddit, and TikTok, leveraging these partnerships to drive innovation through beta programs, stay abreast of platform/industry updates, and optimize campaign performance.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in Digital Marketing, with Performance Marketing/DTC experience preferred. 
  • 4+ years of hands-on (in-platform) Paid Social experience with Meta Ads Manager, Pinterest Ads, TikTok for Business, etc. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in working within a LTV:CAC and/or ROAS environment is crucial.
  • Proven track record of executing multi-million dollar ($10M+) annual budgets.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building best-in-class media buying teams.
  • Expert-level understanding of paid social optimization against conversion KPIs
  • Solid grasp of audience utilization in media, with relevant experiences throughout their journeys.
  • Analytical mindset and proficiency in analytics tools (e.g. Looker, Excel, Amplitude ,etc.). 
  • Knowledge of measurement methodology - MMM, MTA, Lift studies, etc.
  • Comfort and proficiency in executing testing practices (e.g., A/B testing, incrementality testing, etc.).
  • Experience working with launching and optimizing a high volume of creatives.
  • Innate curiosity with a growth-driven mindset focused on continuous learning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
  • Comfortable  in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree

 

Base salary may vary depending on, but not limited to: skills, experience, and location.  This role is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and annual bonus program.

US Pay Range

$130,000 - $145,000 USD
