Senior Analytics Engineer (Azure)

You will be:
- gathering and refining business requirements for reporting and analytics initiatives,
- designing and maintaining business focused data models and semantic layers,
- developing data transformations using SQL and dbt,
- building and optimizing datasets used for reporting and self service analytics,
- developing dashboards and reports in Power BI,
- defining and maintaining KPIs, metrics, and reporting standards,
- working closely with Data Engineers to ensure high quality, reliable, and governed data pipelines,
- supporting business users in interpreting data and deriving actionable insights,
- contributing to data quality monitoring and validation processes,
- participating in workshops with business stakeholders and help translate business questions into analytical solutions.
Your profile:
- strong SQL skills,
- hands on experience with dbt,
- experience designing analytical data models,
- experience building Power BI dashboards and reports,
- experience with Python for data analysis and transformation,
- experience working with Databricks,
- familiarity with Azure Data Lake and modern lakehouse concepts,
- knowledge of dimensional modelling (Kimball),
- ability to gather and document business requirements,
- good understanding of KPI definition and business performance measurement,
- experience working with modern cloud based data platforms,
- strong communication and stakeholder management skills,
- upper-intermediate English.

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
Nice to have:
- experience with Microsoft Fabric,
- knowledge of Data Vault modelling,
- experience supporting executive or financial reporting,
- experience in engineering, construction, professional services, or project based organizations,
- understanding of Microsoft Purview and enterprise data governance frameworks.
