CSRD Project Manager

The Project Manager for Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) will be responsible for managing projects focused on ensuring the organization's compliance with the EU's CSRD sustainability reporting requirements. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and report sustainability data while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Plan, manage, and deliver projects related to the implementation of CSRD requirements within the organization, ensuring timely and on-budget completion.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including finance, sustainability, operations, and external consultants, to gather necessary ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) data.

Data Management: Collect, analyze, and track sustainability data to support reporting objectives and improve data quality.

Reporting Development: Prepare and oversee the creation of sustainability reports, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and effectively communicate the organization’s sustainability efforts.

Compliance Management: Oversee the organization’s compliance with CSRD regulations by coordinating data collection, validation, and reporting efforts across departments.

Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks or issues related to CSRD compliance and escalate them to senior management with mitigation strategies.

Process Implementation: Implement and manage systems and processes for efficient and accurate sustainability data collection, reporting, and analysis.

Communication & Reporting: Provide regular project updates to leadership, highlighting progress, challenges, and key milestones.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the reporting process to enhance compliance, efficiency, and accuracy.

Awareness & Training: Provide training to internal teams on CSRD requirements and best practices for sustainability data management and reporting.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration. Degree in sustainability, environmental science, project management, or related field preferred

Experience: 5 years of project management experience, preferably in corporate sustainability or related fields.

Knowledge of sustainability reporting standards (GRI, TCFD, SASB) and familiarity with CSRD requirements.

Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in data management and analysis tools.

Experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or regulatory compliance is preferred.
