Yext is looking for a Senior Director of Product Management to lead the vision, strategy, and success of our Social product line. As social media continues to shape how brands connect with customers, this role is a critical opportunity to define how Yext empowers multi-location businesses to manage, engage, and grow across social platforms at scale. The ideal candidate brings deep product leadership experience in Martech, with a special focus on social media technology, paid digital channels, and is energized by helping brands thrive in a world of fast-moving conversations and AI-shaped discovery.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that works closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to bring Social products to life and to market. We’re seeking someone who combines a strategic mindset with a hands-on product mentality, and who is ready to lead a team through the next phase of innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Define and articulate the product vision and roadmap for Yext Social, aligning with company priorities and market trends
- Explore and expand the product surface area across:
- Local-level social media management for large, multi-location organizations
- Brand-level social media management
- Digital listening and brand intelligence, enabling brands to understand how their locations are discussed on platforms like Reddit, TikTok, social media, and the open web
- The intersection of AI search, paid SEO, and social media, helping brands influence and respond across channels that shape modern discovery
- Own product strategy to customer adoption and usage across our Social portfolio—driving customer value, differentiation, and adoption
- Lead and grow a team of product managers, creating a culture of innovation, urgency, and customer obsession
- Collaborate deeply with engineering, design, and data science partners to deliver compelling solutions that solve real customer problems
- Stay ahead of platform evolution (e.g. Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn, X) and AI-driven channel trends, identifying and seizing opportunities
- Evangelize the product both internally and externally—through executive briefings, customer councils, analyst relations, and field enablement
- Partner closely with marketing and sales to ensure positioning, packaging, and pricing effectively reflect product value and market opportunity
- Champion experimentation, fast iteration, and learning loops to validate ideas and refine execution
- Influence and inspire stakeholders with strong narrative and customer-centered storytelling
What You Have
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- 5+ years of product management experience in a B2B SaaS or Martech company, ideally with direct ownership of Social Media products
- 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring product teams
- Demonstrated experience leading product strategy through platform consolidation—ideally having owned decisions on whether to merge, sunset, or reinvent multiple overlapping social media tools to create a unified product vision
- Deep understanding of the social media landscape for businesses—across publishing, engagement, compliance, insights, and reputation
- Familiarity with social listening, UGC moderation, paid/organic strategy, and brand intelligence platforms
- Proven success launching and scaling SaaS products in a competitive and fast-moving market
- Experience managing through change, such as post-acquisition integration or org transformations
- A love for building simple solutions to complex user needs
- Skilled at balancing big-picture thinking with detail-oriented execution
- Outstanding written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Familiarity with thought leadership concepts (e.g. Inspired, Radical Candor, Leaders Eat Last) is a plus
- Brings a growth mindset and collaborative energy to every challenge
