The Role

Enable Zenjob to unlock the full potential of its data by developing a best-in-class Data Science and Product Analytics function. You will collaborate closely with Heads of Product, Engineering, and other key stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and data-driven solutions, while mentoring and developing a high-performing team of Data Scientists and Product-minded Data Analysts.

How You Will Contribute

  • Champion the health and effectiveness of the Data Science and Analytics team, driving a high-performance culture rooted in analytical excellence and business impact.
  • Own the quality, impact, and timeliness of data-driven solutions, ensuring they deliver actionable insights and measurable value across Zenjob.
  • Drive execution of data initiatives with strategic foresight, maintaining a strong delivery pace while aligning with broader company objectives.
  • Shape and implement a best-in-class data strategy that elevates Zenjob’s data science and analytics capabilities. This includes developing policies, processes, and a clear roadmap that promotes long-term sustainability and innovation.
  • Align with cross-functional partners, including Business Analytics and Data Engineering teams, to create a cohesive, collaborative, and scalable data ecosystem.
  • Ensure data initiatives support strategic goals by proactively contributing insights to company OKRs, resource planning, and budgeting.
  • Promote high-impact data prioritization, focusing on initiatives that unlock business value, drive innovation, and solve mission-critical problems.
  • Mentor and develop senior talent, fostering continuous learning and professional growth. Create an environment where data scientists and analysts thrive through coaching, best practice sharing, and advanced technical development.

What You'll Bring

 

  • A proven ability to lead and scale high-performing data teams, with a focus on delivering business value through data science and analytics.
  • Strong strategic thinking and experience in setting and executing data visions, roadmaps, and operating models within fast-paced, high-impact environments.
  • Experience in aligning data strategies across multiple stakeholders, translating complex analytical outcomes into actionable business decisions.
  • Deep expertise in analytical methodologies, data modeling, experimentation, and statistical techniques, with a pragmatic approach to applying them in business settings.
  • A track record of mentoring and elevating senior data talent, creating a culture of feedback, learning, and excellence.
  • Demonstrated success in managing project portfolios, resource planning, and budgeting for data-focused initiatives.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and bring stakeholders along on the data journey.
