We are looking for a highly technical Developer Relations Engineer who is passionate about blockchain development and interoperability. This role is not just about engaging with the community—it’s about building, teaching, and supporting developers in integrating ZetaChain’s technology into their projects. You will be hands-on with Solidity, and other smart contract languages, creating technical content, supporting developer teams, and growing the ZetaChain ecosystem.

Provide hands-on technical support to teams building universal applications on ZetaChain.
Manage and engage in developer communities (Discord, GitHub, X, Telegram) by answering questions, sharing insights, and gathering feedback.
Focus on outreach and content, with about 70% “relational” work (e.g., community engagement) and 30% coding.
Technical Content & Education
Write deep-dive blog posts, tutorials, and technical documentation to guide developers in building cross-chain applications.
Conduct live coding sessions, workshops, and webinars to onboard new developers.
Hackathons, Bounties & Developer Acceleration
Organize online hackathons and developer bounties to foster innovation.
Support early-stage projects building on ZetaChain through mentorship and funding initiatives.
Design challenge tracks for developer events, ensuring they align with ZetaChain’s strategic goals.
Ecosystem & Tooling Support
Collaborate with external service providers to improve the developer experience on ZetaChain.
Work closely with the engineering team to provide developer feedback and improve ZetaChain’s protocol and tools.

Experience managing developer communities and providing technical support.
Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.
Startup & Ecosystem Growth Mindset
Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
Excited about interoperability, cross-chain development, and universal apps.
Passion for open-source projects and contributing to the blockchain ecosystem.
Travel Requirements
This position requires frequent travel to attend conferences, hackathons, and developer events globally.

Lead Product Engineer
About the Role
ZetaChain is at the forefront of building the first fully interoperable layer-1 blockchain. We're looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Product Engineer to spearhead the development of innovative Web3 applications powered by our cross-chain interoperability layer.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building new user-facing products from scratch, enjoys the fast pace of a startup, and wants to be on the bleeding edge of cross-chain Web3 technology. As a team lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our product engineering culture, mentoring other developers, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with cross-chain dApps.
Blockchain experience isn't required if you have a proven track record of building successful products. This role won’t need to write smart contracts but you will need to develop a strong understanding of Solidity and how to interact with Web3 smart contracts and assets. Experience across other chains like Solana, SUI, Bitcoin, or TON is a huge plus.
What You'll Do
Lead a small, agile team of product-focused engineers building powerful cross-chain Web3 applications
Build full-stack features that touch everything from contract interactions to slick frontend interfaces
Work closely with design, protocol, and ecosystem teams to bring innovative universal apps to life
Solve hard technical problems, from user onboarding to high-throughput systems
Contribute to open-source projects and shape best practices in a rapidly evolving space
You Should Have
3+ years of software engineering experience
Strong full-stack background, with a focus on building consumer products
Experience leading projects, teams, and mentoring engineers
Proven track record shipping production-grade applications, ideally in Web3 or fintech
Bonus Points
Solid grasp of Web3 architecture: how contracts, wallets, assets, and RPC interactions work
Experience across multiple blockchain ecosystems (e.g., Solana, SUI, Bitcoin, TON)
Background at both fast-moving startups and more structured organizations
History of launching products from 0 → 1
Experience building applications at scale (millions of users)
In-Office Culture
We believe that collaboration is supercharged when we share space together. Many members of our team work hybrid from our San Francisco office, and we aim for 2 to 3 in-office days per week. We know life happens, whether it’s travel, appointments, or family needs and we’re flexible when the schedule needs to shift. But generally, we value showing up, building together, and keeping the energy high. The company is a mix of remote and local team members.
Why Join Us?
At ZetaChain, you'll get to:
Build truly novel Web3 products that don't exist anywhere else
Work alongside a world-class protocol team that's building foundational cross-chain infrastructure
Lead our growing product engineering team and define the future of Web3 UX
Our Tech Stack
We’re a polyglot team and value engineers who can navigate across boundaries. You are not expected to be an expert in every area and you’ll be working closely with our Protocol Engineering and SRE teams but it helps to understand the tools we use. Our core stack includes:
Frontend: TypeScript, Next.js, Redux Toolkit, GraphQL, tRPC, Ethers.js
Smart Contracts: Solidity, Foundry/Hardhat, Rust
Backend / Infra: Go, Rust, Docker, Kubernetes
Others: GitHub Actions
Compensation

In addition to the base salary, all full-time team members receive an additional 10% to 25% in liquid benefits with upside based on role, experience, and impact.
