Principal Solutions Consultant - Zeta Marketing Platform

London, UK

Zeta helps enterprise brands connect customer data, intelligence and activation to create better customer experiences and measurable growth.

Our Solutions Consulting team brings that proposition to life. We are trusted advisors working at the intersection of sales, technology and customer strategy, helping customers understand what is possible and how to achieve it.

We partner closely with Enterprise Sales, Customer Growth, Product, Engineering and Services to translate complex business challenges into differentiated solutions. Through strategic discovery, compelling demonstrations and practical solution design, we help leading brands transform how they engage with their customers.

You will join a collaborative team that values industry expertise, knowledge-sharing and a “win together” mentality.

About the Role

As a Principal Solutions Consultant, you will lead solution and technical strategy for some of Zeta’s most strategic enterprise opportunities across the UK, supporting both new customer acquisition and growth within existing customer relationships.

With a core focus on Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP), you will help enterprise brands connect their customer engagement ambitions with practical technology solutions. You will shape opportunities across the wider Zeta portfolio, including platform modernisation, migration and expansion.

Reporting to the Director of Solutions Consulting, you will partner closely with Enterprise Sales, Customer Growth and cross-functional teams to understand complex customer challenges, develop differentiated solution strategies and demonstrate measurable business value.

This is a senior individual contributor role combining executive engagement with hands-on technical leadership. You will personally lead discovery, develop tailored demonstrations and guide technical evaluations, while acting as a mentor, enablement leader and senior technical voice within the Solutions Consulting organisation.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead strategic discovery and solution design. Own discovery and solution strategy for complex enterprise opportunities, partnering with Enterprise Sales and Customer Growth to understand business objectives, technical requirements and success criteria.
  • Advise senior decision-makers. Facilitate executive workshops and technical strategy sessions with marketing, data and technology leaders, connecting customer engagement and transformation priorities to clear business outcomes.
  • Shape enterprise solutions. Design solutions centred on ZMP and the wider Zeta portfolio, spanning customer engagement, customer data platforms, identity, analytics, personalisation, AI and cross-channel orchestration.
  • Build and deliver compelling demonstrations. Personally develop tailored demonstrations and coordinated multi-product narratives that make complex technology clear, relevant and differentiated.
  • Own technical win strategies. Develop and execute technical win plans alongside commercial teams, supporting complex requests for proposal (RFPs), competitive evaluations, proof-of-concepts and technical validation exercises.
  • Support customer growth and modernisation. Identify how customers can realise greater value through additional capabilities, broader adoption and platform evolution, helping define practical migration and expansion paths.
  • Validate feasibility and delivery requirements. Partner with Product, Engineering, Services and implementation teams to clarify data, integration, architecture and migration dependencies, and ensure a clear handover from pre-sales into delivery.
  • Represent capabilities accurately. Ensure proposed solutions reflect functionality available in the relevant market, clearly distinguishing current capabilities from roadmap items and making delivery dependencies explicit.
  • Bring customer insight into the business. Translate customer requirements, competitive insight and market feedback into recommendations that inform product priorities and UK go-to-market strategy.
  • Elevate the wider team. Mentor Senior Solutions Consultants and Solutions Consultants, and contribute to pre-sales methodologies, standards, playbooks and enablement programmes.
  • Represent Zeta externally. Share expertise through customer events, conferences, webinars and other industry engagements.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering or enterprise pre-sales within SaaS, MarTech, CRM or related technology platforms.
  • Demonstrated success supporting and winning complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise opportunities, with strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how technical differentiation supports both acquisition and customer growth.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise Customer Engagement Platforms (CEP), customer data platforms (CDP), identity, data, analytics, AI-driven personalisation and cross-channel orchestration.
  • Strong executive presence and credibility with CMOs, CTOs, CIOs and other senior business and technology leaders.
  • The ability to connect customer business priorities with technology capabilities and articulate a clear, credible transformation vision.
  • Excellent discovery, workshop facilitation, presentation and executive storytelling skills, alongside hands-on experience developing tailored demonstrations and supporting technical evaluations.
  • Experience developing and executing technical win strategies, navigating enterprise architecture discussions and working through complex integration and data requirements.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Customer Growth, Product, Engineering, Services and customer teams.
  • The ability to mentor and elevate colleagues without formal people-management responsibility.
  • A strategic mindset combined with the willingness and capability to work hands-on within active enterprise opportunities.

Why Join Us

You will play a central role in shaping how Zeta brings its platform and capabilities to market across the UK, working on some of our most important and complex enterprise opportunities.

This is an opportunity to help leading brands rethink how they use customer data, intelligence, AI and activation, combining executive influence with practical technical problem-solving and meaningful commercial impact.

You will also help strengthen the Solutions Consulting organisation through mentoring, enablement and shared expertise, while contributing directly to Zeta’s product and go-to-market evolution.

Location & Flexibility

This role is based in London, with a hybrid working model and regular presence in Zeta’s London office. Travel across the UK will be required to support strategic opportunities, customer workshops, executive meetings and industry events.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
