Join Zip’s Product Design team, where designers partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Researchers to create people centred financial experiences. Our team works across the full double diamond, from defining problems to measuring outcomes, with a strong focus on collaboration, curiosity and design quality.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping Zip’s products end to end. You will balance the needs of today with a longer term vision, craft intuitive and delightful experiences, and advocate for design as a driver of customer and business impact.

What you’ll own

  • Owning the design of complex product areas from discovery through to delivery and iteration
  • Advocating for design quality and customer outcomes in product roadmaps and squad discussions
  • Designing flows, interactions and interfaces that are simple, elegant and purposeful
  • Developing scalable product visions and breaking them into clear, achievable increments
  • Testing ideas, measuring outcomes and learning quickly to continuously improve experiences
  • Partnering closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Researchers throughout the product lifecycle
  • Contributing to and evolving Zip’s design system and design practices
  • Actively giving and receiving feedback to lift the quality of work across the design team

What you'll bring to the team

  • 6+ years of experience in product, UX or interaction design, with hands on experience across mobile and web
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong interaction design, visual craft and problem solving that delivers real customer and business outcomes
  • Confidence working end to end, from defining problems and mapping flows through to detailed UI and interaction design
  • A natural curiosity that drives you to uncover the deeper why behind customer problems
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to influence and bring others along the journey
  • Experience collaborating in cross functional teams and facilitating constructive design conversations
  • Comfort working in fast paced environments, balancing speed with thoughtful decision making
  • Experience contributing to or working with design systems
  • A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
