About the Role

As a Support Engineer- IT Infrastructure, you’ll be the first line of technical support in a global, remote-first SaaS environment. You’ll help employees stay productive by providing friendly, responsive support across Windows and macOS devices, collaboration tools, and business applications.

You’ll handle day-to-day support requests, deliver white-glove onboarding and offboarding, manage hardware provisioning, and support core IT systems alongside senior team members. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who’s eager to learn, grow, and build deeper systems and cloud expertise.

What You’ll Do...

  • Respond to and resolve Level 1 IT support tickets in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot common endpoint issues, including software installs, OS issues, VPN access, printers, and peripherals
  • Assist with onboarding tasks such as laptop setup, account provisioning, MFA enrollment, and user orientation
  • Prepare, ship, receive, and track employee hardware, including laptops and accessories
  • Maintain accurate hardware inventory and asset records
  • Enroll and manage devices in Jamf and Intune under the guidance of senior IT team members
  • Perform basic administration tasks in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, including password resets and group membership changes
  • Document common issues, solutions, and onboarding procedures to improve self-service resources
  • Assist with routine system maintenance tasks such as patching and software updates
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support after-hours or weekend issues as part of a rotating on-call schedule, when required.

What You’ll Need...

  • 1–3 years of experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or technical support role
  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows and/or macOS environments
  • Familiarity with Jamf, Microsoft Intune, or other endpoint management tools (hands-on or academic experience acceptable)
  • Experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365 (Office 365) administration
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, onboarding guides, and self-service resources
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to follow procedures, document work, and escalate issues appropriately
  • Comfortable working in a remote, distributed environment
  • Eagerness to learn and grow technical skills in cloud infrastructure, security, and systems administration
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency support as required

Preferred – Relevant Certifications, Such As:

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • CompTIA A+ / Network+
