We are now looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Game Engineer to join our team and directly contribute to the continued success and stability of our beloved titles. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the vision and roadmap of games enjoyed by millions of players every day, leveraging data, insights, and creativity to drive product strategy and growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in design, engineering, and analytics to deliver world-class player experiences, while being part of Zynga’s strong product culture where innovation, collaboration, and a player-first mindset are at the heart of everything we do.

What You'll be doing?

Keeping our tens of millions of happy players in mind;

• Contributing to the development of current and new games using Unity engine
• Participating in project planning and estimation
• Researching, designing and implementing solutions which will enhance services
• Seeking and resolving any performance and scalability challenges
• Work as part of a team with other talented developers, designers and artists on the game team

What you need?

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or any equivalent department
• 3/4+ years of game development experience with at least 2 years in Unity
• Experience in the development of UI, audio, animation systems, shader effects
• Good CPU and GPU optimization skills
• Deep understanding of the mobile platforms and their specific requirements
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, coding, and testing patterns
• Eager to search/discuss/share information about new technologies & tools
• Comfortable with speaking/reading English
• Having analytical, practical problem-solving skills
   

What is nice to have?

• Experience in native development for Android or IOS
• Released titles in Unity on a mobile platform is a big plus
• Experience in developing multiplayer games
• One particular area of expertise (Architecture, Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, Network, WebGL, Client Security, …)
