Manager, Production - Upholstery
Summary
Oversees production activity and staff through assigning projects and tasks to staff, manpower requirements, production efficiency, quality of product, training, equipment and tooling, performance of schedule, facility cleanliness, safety, and security.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Continually supports, promotes and models Greenpoint corporate values in everyday business dealings.
Conducts 1:1 discussion, annual performance reviews and mid-year reviews and makes recommendations for salary adjustments.
Reviews performance of direct reports regularly and conducts formal evaluations when scheduled.
Ensures growth and development of direct reports by providing appropriate training, growth opportunities and identifying employee goals.
Partners with leadership on recruiting, hiring, coaching, counseling, and terminations.
Promotes a “Right First Time” mentality throughout the organization.
Oversees all production, developing and maintaining a master production schedule.
Provides direct feedback to senior management regarding all project visibility and status.
Performs production planning and assigns projects to production leads and/or direct reports.

Ensures production staff is trained appropriately and offers instruction and shares lessons learned.
Assists in estimation and projection of labor requirements for future programs and performs projection and requisition of Human Resources required to support workload.
Facilitates R&D activity between Engineering and Manufacturing.
Ensures systems and tools are in place so products are produced on time, meeting required quality standards.
Manages the adherence to prescribed procedures and processes to ensure quality meets or exceeds planned goals.
Ensures that effective performance appraisals are carried out for direct reports and that any downstream appraisals are timely, effectively prepared and presented.
Promotes a culture of continuous improvement within the production organization.
Acts a champion for Kaizen and Lean initiatives.
Partners with EHS leadership to ensure compliance with health and safety policies, systems, and processes.
Manages the manufacturing/modification operations consistent with the company operating guidelines.

Assesses manufacturing operations staffing and skill requirements and develops recruitment or training plans to address needs.
Ensures that a secure, safe, and clean work environment exists throughout the facility.
Maintains regular attendance including being at work, being on time to work and working full shifts.

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
Bachelor’s degree, seven years of relevant experience in aerospace VVIP Upholstery fabrication and Installation in a production environment and three years of production management experience, or combined equivalent of experience and education. Aerospace background and aircraft interior industry experience is essential.

Interiors Shop Supervisor - VIP
Summary
Highly skilled and detail-oriented Aviation VVIP Upholstery Supervisor to oversee and manage high-end interior upholstery and cabinetry work on VVIP aircraft. This role requires expertise in panel covering, carpet and non-textile flooring (NTF) installation, carpet surging, and sewing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation interior completions, with a focus on quality craftsmanship, team leadership, and adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all aspects of VVIP aircraft upholstery projects including:
Panel covering: Fitment and application of premium materials (e.g., leather, fabric, suede) to various aircraft panels.
Carpet and NTF installation: Accurate layout, trimming, and bonding of carpets and non-textile flooring in cabins and crew areas.
Carpet surging: Ensure high-quality edge finishing of carpets with appropriate binding or stitching methods.
Sewing: Direct and participate in the sewing of seat covers, curtains, cushions, and other soft goods using industrial sewing machines.
Cabinet repair / finish: Perform VVIP cabinet and finish repairs as assigned.
Supervise a team of upholsterers, providing guidance, training, and quality control to ensure all tasks meet VVIP and OEM standards.
Coordinate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Project Management teams to ensure timely and compliant execution of work orders.
Review drawings, specifications, and work instructions to plan materials and workflow.
Conduct in-process and final inspections to verify workmanship and material integrity.
Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and time tracking for each project.
Ensure all safety and regulatory requirements are met within the upholstery work area.
Support aircraft completion activities as required.

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of three years’ experience preferred. Minimum eight years’ experience in aviation upholstery with at least two years’ experience in a supervisory or lead role required.

The expected WA salary range for this position is between $90,000.00 - $124,000.00 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, location, and other factors permitted by law. Sr Operations Specialist
Summary
The Senior Operations Specialist contributes to the success of the Greenpoint Technologies through special projects which enhance business operations, improve efficiency, and streamline communication.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develops solutions to key business issues and presents alternatives.
Leads complex and large-scale projects for cross-functional and/or cross-departments as allocated by executives.
Identifies and creates improvement opportunities that support key strategic initiatives.
Liaises between all Greenpoint Companies and with internal and external partners concerning projects.
Develops project work plans and performs project management.
Estimates the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Drafts and submits budget proposals to Vice President, Operations.
