About Harry’s Inc
Harry’s Inc. is building a modern CPG company by putting people first and delivering against real unmet consumer needs.
The company’s flagship brand - Harry’s - was founded by Jeff Raider and Andy Katz-Mayfield in 2013. After successfully launching and scaling Harry’s, Jeff and Andy saw an opportunity to bring their experience building Harry’s to other CPG categories where the consumer has also been historically underserved.
Harry’s Inc. has grown significantly over the last ten years, and is now made up of four brands - Harry’s, Flamingo, Lume, Mando - and Harry’s Labs, the company’s incubation and M&A engine. The company employs more than 900 people across the U.S., U.K. and Germany, and is the largest CPG company built in the last 20 years.

About the Team
Lume is seeking an Executive Assistant who will work in close partnership with senior leaders and employees across Lume. Because the team interacts with almost everyone at Lume, so, too, will the Executive Assistant.
About the Role
The Executive Assistant will report to the Executive Operations Manager and support the company’s Executive Team. The Executive Assistant will serve as an essential partner to the team, providing direct administrative support and taking ownership over key org-wide processes. Our leaders approach their work with a “roll up your sleeves and get it done” mentality, and the Executive Assistant will help them leverage their capacity more strategically. Day-to-day tasks may range from administrative work like scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and taking notes, to more strategic work such as organizing team events, managing projects, and ensuring follow through on next steps. Above all else, the Executive Assistant must be highly proactive, anticipating needs, identifying gaps, and solving problems before the team even notices them. This highly organized, endlessly resourceful person will ensure that nothing falls through the cracks.
The line isn’t always clearly defined, but we expect the Executive Assistant to spend about 75% on administrative work in support of the Executive Team, and 25% working on org-wide initiatives as directed by the Executive Operations Manager. Because the role (and our team!) is so dynamic, this person must possess strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.
What you will accomplish:
- Calendar management: Provide ad hoc support for complex scheduling needs and proactive calendar management for select high-need use cases
- Team meetings: Support selected high priority team meetings by setting up conference calls, sending out pre-reads, taking notes, following up on next steps, etc.
- Team offsites: Plan, coordinate, and occasionally attend team offsites; research & book accommodations, purchase & set up supplies, order meals, make reservations, support agenda planning, etc.
- General team support: Support team connectivity and employee engagement by planning events, sending gifts, coordinating teambuilding activities, etc.
- Cross-functional liaising: Serve as day-to-day point person, answering questions, pointing people toward the right resources, etc.; serve as point of contact and/or owner for org-wide initiatives such as team celebrations (e.g. birthdays & Lumeversaries), employee engagement survey completion, end of year People Team processes, etc.
This should describe you:
- You have strong proficiency with Google Suite and Slack, and/or the ability to quickly learn new tools.
- You’re able to maintain discretion when working with highly confidential information.
- You’re highly proactive and great at managing up: You’re confident working with senior leaders. You thrive on direct, honest feedback and you’re always looking for ways to make your executive’s life easier. You know there’s a problem – and you know how to fix it – before anyone else. You can effectively prioritize and manage your time and can advise your executive on their priorities as well.
- You’re exceptionally detail oriented: You are a perfectionist who never lets anything fall through the cracks.
- You are a creative problem solver: There’s no sticky situation that you can’t wiggle your way out of, and you always come to the table with solutions.
- You’re a great communicator: You can communicate nuance effectively to anyone. Whether it’s in an email, over the phone, or in person, you know how to adapt to your audience and get things done through your ability to clearly and professionally express yourself.
You’re a strong collaborator: You’re willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done, like the executives you’ll support. You’re able to work with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds. You thrive on direct feedback and are always looking for ways to improve.
- You’re accountable: You are endlessly reliable, trustworthy, and consistent in your ability to produce the highest quality work. Everyone counts on you all the time, and you always come through.
You have a sense of humor: We take our work seriously and ourselves un-seriously.
Here's who you'll work with:
- Reporting to our Executive Operations Manager and supporting with org-wide initiatives as they arise.
- You’ll support five members of our Executive Team, who will rely on you for a variety of recurring and as-needed tasks.
