The Opportunity

We’re seeking a highly motivated and talented Executive Assistant to work directly with the Managing Partner and support the entire leadership team of our rapidly growing Venture Studio. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside and learn from experienced leaders who are driving innovation in the B2B SaaS space.

In this role, you'll handle a wide range of responsibilities, from managing calendars and communications, to contributing to strategic projects and operational initiatives. This role is ideal for a recent MBA graduate, or top performer, with strong analytical and technical skills who is eager to learn the ropes of venture building and transition into an operational role within 1848 Ventures.

What You’ll Do

  • Executive Support
    • Calendar Management: Expertly manage the Managing Partner's schedule, ensuring all meetings, events, and engagements are planned efficiently and effectively.
    • Communication & Correspondence: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on behalf of the Managing Partner, including emails, calls, and organizational announcements.
    • Travel Management: Organize and coordinate complex travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation.
    • Meeting Management: Prepare agendas, take minutes, and track action items for key meetings.
    • Expense Reports: Accurately and timely process expense reports.
  • Strategic Project Assistance
    • Take the lead in preparing high-quality, professional presentations tailored for internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership. Ensure materials are clear and visually appealing. Collaborate with the Managing Partner and leadership team to craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate data, insights, and strategic initiatives.
    • Support the Managing Partner and leadership team with special projects, conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing presentations and reports.
    • Contribute to the development of strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Operations Support:
    • Provide operational support across the venture studio, assisting with process improvement and project management.
    • Leverage your analytical and technical skills to analyze data and automate tasks.
