Director, Field Marketing - Enterprise

What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Field Marketing lead to join the edX Enterprise team. As the Field Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing edX’s presence at industry events and collaborating with various teams including creative, marketing operations, and product marketing to enhance brand visibility. Your role involves project management, creative collaboration for branded materials, and close coordination with the Sales teams to drive successful event campaigns.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Event Sourcing and Management:
- Identify and source relevant events and conferences aligning with company goals.
- Project manage end-to-end logistics for events, ensuring smooth execution and maximum impact.
- Establish guidelines and best practices across teams, contributing to event calendar, stakeholder communications, standard operating procedures (SOP), vendor lists, and documentation of mechanisms.
- Enterprise Positioning:
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop and enhance branded materials for events.
- Manage company assets at events, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand presence.
- Collaboration with Sales Teams:
- Work closely with Sales teams to understand the target audience and goals for each event.
- Develop and execute targeted event campaigns to attract prospects, drive engagement, and generate leads.
- Coordinate with the Sales teams to set up meetings with potential clients during events.
- Post-Event Follow-Up:
- Implement effective follow-up strategies to nurture leads generated from events.
- Gather feedback and insights to continuously improve future event strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather insights, feedback, and input for improving our event presence.
- Compile, analyze, and present performance metrics and enlighten potential opportunities for program growth.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
- Curious about the future of work, careers, talent development and EdTech
- Proven experience in field marketing, event management, or related roles.
- History of successful budget management.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work cross-functionally.
- Creativity and a keen eye for branding and design.
- Familiarity with B2B marketing strategies and lead generation.
- Familiarity with B2B marketing automation tools like Marketo and Pardot.
