Overview of Role

As a .NET Developer at 66degrees, you will build and run AI, analytics, and other mission-critical cloud-native applications for our clients. You will work within cross-functional Agile teams to deliver scalable solutions and measurable business value. Prefer to have Python or frontend experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using .NET (C#).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature definition and delivery.
• Implement and maintain unit tests, following Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Utilize Git for version control and actively participate in code reviews.
• Deploy solutions on Azure or Google Cloud Platform (preferred), or other cloud services like AWS.

Qualifications

Core Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with .NET (C#), proficient with .NET Version 5 or newer.
• Strong foundational understanding of object-oriented programming and clean, readable code principles.
• Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns, concurrency patterns, and web application frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing platforms, unit testing frameworks, and TDD methodologies.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools like Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and Agile software development practices.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

High-Value Additions (Strong Preference for one of the following):

• Python: Additional backend experience with Python as a programming language (replacing the previous Java/Python mention).
• Modern Frontend: Experience with Angular, React, or other modern frontend frameworks.

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and experience creating database schemas.
• Knowledge of Common Language Runtime (CLR).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
