Head of Learning & Development Tech

Adyen is at an inflection point of rapid growth and our Tech organization plays a critical role in achieving our 10x ambition. We’re looking for an experienced Head of Learning & Development Tech, to define and drive the learning and development strategy and delivery for our global Tech teams. 
This position is particularly well-suited for professionals currently in an Engineering, Product or Program Management role who are seeking to transition into a strategic leadership role. You will have the opportunity to leverage your past experience to develop and implement educational programs across the global Tech organization at Adyen.


Your Mission

Your primary mission will be to define the strategy, build the team, and collaborate with Tech leadership to create scalable learning programs. These programs will empower the Adyen Tech teams to build and deliver technology at scale, directly contributing to the company's rapid growth.


What you’ll do

  • Define and Drive the Learning Strategy: You'll be responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy specifically tailored for the Tech Organization, across Engineering, Product Management and UX.
  • Build and Run Scalable Learning Programs: You'll create and scale learning initiatives focused on enhancing technical skills, product thinking and Tech team effectiveness across various disciplines and geographies.
  • Partner with Tech Leadership: You'll act as a strategic partner to Tech leaders and other key stakeholders, identifying current skill gaps and proactively anticipating future capability needs.
  • Build and Lead a High-Performing Team: You'll hire, build, and lead a team of L&D professionals, fostering a results-oriented culture.
  • Enable Organisational Change: You'll work closely with other Tech Enablement teams to implement new ways of working within the organization and drive successful implementation and change management.

 

Who you are?

  • Relevant experience in a fast paced tech environment: hands-on experience or deep collaboration with Engineering, Product, or UX teams.A relentless bias toward action and tangible outcomes: consistently driving for measurable impact in a fast-paced environment.

  • Expertise in program management and/or change management.

  • Strategic communication: Skilled at influencing and aligning technical and non-technical stakeholders, with a proven ability of partnering effectively across functions and leadership levels.

  • Cross-functional expertise: Deep familiarity with how Engineering, Product, and UX teams collaborate to deliver technology at scale.
