AP, Carrier Pay & Settlements Manager

Tampa, FL

At AFC, you're a name, not a number. We're a tech-forward transportation and logistics company that promotes from within and gives you real access to leadership.

We're looking for an AP, Carrier Pay & Settlements Manager to own every dollar that leaves AFC, across carrier pay, driver and owner-operator settlements, and corporate AP. You'll set the controls that keep payments accurate and fraud-free, lead an offshore AP team, and partner with our Controller to tighten month-end close.

What you'll do
  • Own payment controls: vendor and carrier master data, bank-change verification, and approval of every payment batch
  • Run carrier settlements through TriumphPay and driver/owner-operator settlements in McLeod
  • Manage corporate AP, fuel and corporate card programs, and 1099 compliance
  • Track and recover carrier claims
  • Lead and scorecard a 3-person offshore AP team

What you bring
  • 5+ years in AP, with 3+ in trucking, brokerage, or 3PL
  • 2+ years managing AP or settlements staff
  • Hands-on experience with carrier pay, factoring and NOAs, and owner-operator settlements
  • A track record of stopping payment fraud and enforcing payment controls
  • McLeod and Intuit experience strongly preferred

What we offer
  • $75,000 to $100,000 base salary
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits starting the 1st of the month after 60 days
  • 80 hours of PTO per year plus 6 paid holidays
  • A seat close to leadership, with real ownership of how the function runs
