We are seeking a Senior Subcontracts/Contracts Analyst to support our Contracts Manager in the management of federal contracting opportunities. The ideal candidate will be able to operate and negotiate independently, with extensive knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned subcontracts, including FAR, DFAR.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develops, negotiates, and administers assigned NDAs, TAs, Subcontracts, and other related agreements
  • Actively participates in the capture process which includes pricing and scheduling strategy, communicating with the subcontractor teammates regarding data calls assessing the responses received, and coordinating communications between subcontract stakeholders
  • Ensures timely processing of subcontract negotiations for fair and reasonable pricing as well as terms and conditions with assistance from management and input from relevant stakeholders
  • Serves as a liaison facilitator between the program team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issues, escalating potential issues to management
  • Coordinates with program managers and all matrixed organizations to ensure subcontract requirements are fulfilled
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant subcontract procedures and practices and may provide guidance and/or task leadership to less-experienced subcontract administrators
  • Participates in and/or manages special projects as required

Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience with subcontract/contract administration or supply chain contracts in a regulated environment.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze contract language and provide summaries to senior staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Access or SharePoint a plus.

This is a remote position within the United States, with a preference for candidates located in the DMV (Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia) area who can work onsite occasionally as needed. Occasional travel may be required for work-related meetings, events, or other business needs.

The projected salary range for this position is $105,000+ annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including years of relevant experience, certifications, skillset, and overall qualifications.
