Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Field Marketing Manager to drive impactful field marketing strategies and execute engaging, high-performance events and lead our out of home sponsorships for a rapidly growing tech scaleup. This role is ideal for a results-oriented marketer with experience in executing large industry events, conferences, and webinars. You’ll work closely with our sales and business development teams to develop integrated field marketing programs that accelerate sales cycles, enhance brand visibility, and increase pipeline generation. You will execute flagship events like Snowflake Summit, Data & AI Summit, and Big Data London to support smaller, more targeted customer events, while also running our webinar program. This role will also be in charge of the direction of our own conference move(data). We are looking for an individual that wants to directly influence our growth, and oversee our multi-million events budget

In this strategic yet hands-on position, you’ll be responsible for developing, measuring, and optimizing field marketing initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall sales pipeline and revenue goals. With a deep understanding of the B2B SaaS landscape, ABM strategies, and a passion for creative, high-impact marketing, you will play a key role in executing campaigns, managing logistics, and reporting on performance. What You'll Do

  • Event Strategy & Planning
    • Lead the strategic planning and execution of events across all segments, including trade shows, webinars, and other events
    • Own the event budget
    • Drive demand generation goals by creating events that will create leads, and, more importantly, pipeline, with positive ROI.
    • Expand Airbyte’s brand at selected conferences to include out of home promotion (Billboards, bus sighs, airport signage, ect)
  • Event Execution
    • End-to-end management of logistics and execution for all planned events; help shape event themes, work with outside vendors, oversee fulfillment/inventory levels, manage events’ sales staffing
  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Impact
    • Evaluate all event campaigns’ impact and ROI to determine the success and forecast for potential future investment  
    • Work with Sales and SDRs to make sure they know which leads they are following up and how we will nurture the rest. 
  • Sales Initiatives: Maintain direct alignment with sales leaders and sales teams in terms of all pre and post-event communication, marketing-driven campaigns, and event promotion strategy 
  • Partner Marketing Initiatives: Manage local marketing co-initiatives with key partners to co-host events, webinars, and other marketing activities
  • Community Meet-Ups: Plan & host community events with local partners, customers, prospects and business players
  • Everything above and more to help contribute to the team’s main goal of maximizing qualified opportunities and building our brand.

What You'll Need

  • 4+ years of experience in event marketing or a related field,
  • In-depth industry experience in data, dev tools, or engaging engineers 
  • Experience organizing both virtual and physical conferences.
  • Great communication skills to persuade internal and external stakeholders to endorse event initiatives.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and get things done
  • Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Top-notch project management skills, budget management, and attention to detail
  • Travel up to 35% of the time - we attend 10/15 conferences per year (US)

  • San Francisco Bay Area.  4 days per week.
Salary
  • For this job- $142,000 - $180,000 + a generous equity package, and benefits listed below for US Market.
