
Associate Scientist - Technology Development

We are seeking an Associate Scientist, Technology Development, with a passion for innovation to join our technology development team and work on our novel protein detection platform. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, on multiple projects, and will be a part of a rapidly growing company to make a difference in life science research and early disease diagnosis.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Perform experiments to integrate and validate NULISA assays on ARGO instruments.
- Design and perform experiments to test system-level performance and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Perform QC testing on existing and new products as needed.
- Assist with software testing as needed.
- Assist with automated experiments set up, manual experiments, sample preparation, and inventory organization and management.
- Assist with data analysis, reporting results and presenting in meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including reagents, methodology, and results.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to integrate and adapt different assay workflows onto Alamar’s proprietary instrument platform.
Requirements include:
- Bachelors degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field with minimum of 1 year of industrial experience; Or Masters degree.
- Hands-on experience running ELISA, qPCR, NGS or similar, as well as experience in generating, analyzing, and reviewing data from those assays required with guidance.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $92,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
