Social Media Analyst Intern

Overview:

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Social Media Analyst Intern to join our team. In this role, you will research and track trends across Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn. The intern will also analyze competitors and create reports, develop tracking processes, support social media strategy growth, and assist with online reputation management project planning.

 

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement a process for researching and tracking social media trends across Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn.· Analyze competitor social media activity and presence, creating detailed reports to reflect the initial findings.

· Create frameworks for building social media performance reports, combining insights from social trends, competitor analysis, and performance data from Sprout Social.

· Collaborate with the marketing team to turn research findings into actionable recommendations for social media strategies.

· Monitor and assess key social media metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

· Help refine processes for reporting and tracking the performance of social media campaigns and initiatives.

· For online reputation management, develop a process for internally tracking and reporting Alarm.com profile ratings.

· Research best practices for online reputation management strategies and prepare a guide for Marketing and our partners.

 

Requirements:

· Degree-in-progress in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and interpret social media trends and competitor activity.

· Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn) and social media management tools like Sprout Social.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Detail-oriented with the ability to develop frameworks for reporting and analysis.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
