Align seeks an L3 Support Engineer to join our Managed Services team.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the support and maintenance of distributed systems, servers and workstations.
- Work with the managed service team to provide L3 support and act as an escalation point for the IT service desk. Advanced support of Office 365, Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Assist with client onboarding such as technical assessments and day two / white glove VIP support. Train new clients. O365 and Azure administration and support. Day-to-day systems administration and advanced troubleshooting of Microsoft distributed systems as well as project support.
- Administer Windows Server 2012/R2/2016.Administer Office 365, including administering and troubleshooting Azure MFA. Administer Citrix XenApp for desktop and application deployment. Respond to post-project technical support calls. Solve problems related to installation, implementation, maintenance and operations of hardware and software and related infrastructure components.
- Perform direct follow-up with clients regarding remediation. Interface with other elements of the client support structure including tracking client issues, updating client tickets and ensuring closure.
- Document all policies, procedures and standards around the build and continuing operation of servers and systems. Use in-depth support experience and Microsoft Windows Architecture — SQL Server, Windows Server, Active Directory (AD), Office 365 (O365) and Exchange.
- Use experience implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting core Windows infrastructure services such as Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Certificate Services.
- Use Azure experience including virtual machine provisioning, AD Connect, Hybrid Set Up with Azure AD and Access Management. Use Office 365 / Microsoft 365 management and configuration experience. Use Intune to manage end points. Use Active Directory in a multi-site environment.
- Use Windows Server 2012/R2/2016 and Office 365. Use Exchange Online including mail flow rules and retention policies. Use Azure AD including Conditional Access, Microsoft Cloud App Security, Azure MFA, Citrix XenApp for desktop and application deployment. Use experience managing servers in large corporate environments including security, security policy compliance and exception processes. Use diverse hardware platforms (Cisco, Dell, IBM, HP, Blades) and supporting technologies: TCP/IP, IIS, DHCP/DNS, Anti-Virus, systems management, optimization tuning and high-availability configurations (Microsoft Clustering).
- Use experience with documentation for system builds, configurations and support procedures.
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation or 48 months of experience in job offered or in a related occupation.

Additional Skills or Requirements:
- Option to telecommute 3x per week.
HRS/WK: 40 Hours
Salary: $90,000 - $115,000
