Privilege User Admin

About the Position:

The successful candidate will work as a member of the Workforce team and perform activities primarily in support of the NRO’s workforce, privilege user and compliance support tools. The successful candidate will:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of NRO enterprise policy and strategy regarding workforce requirements for IT, IA, and IM compliance requirements; relevant proven skills in project and data management, data analysis, and ability to translate findings into strategic and tactical recommendations.
  • Facilitate the execution and enhancement of IT training and certification requirements and compliance to NRO ND 50-5, DoD 8570.01M or any subsequent IT, IA, and IM direction for workforce compliance or skills development.
  • Develop, maintain, and brief Privilege User (PU) content. 
  • Ability to train on PU process, workflow, and computer compliance applications (many times on short notice for large audiences - travel is rarely required).
  • Facilitate workforce compliance forums.
  • Act as the SME on PU policy and actively monitor the PU inbox. 
  • Translate data analysis into strategic and tactical recommendations. 
  • Assist the customer with PU related enterprise planning and management. 
  • Draft memos, conduct quarterly audits, Standard Operating Procedures, FAQs, TIERs. 
  • Support NRO inspections (CSSP, CORA, JCIP) – Prepare content, provide documentation, and respond to questions. 
  • Communicate with stakeholders on PU changes (strategic communications). 
  • Manage and maintain PU SharePoint content. 
  • Produce PU-related metrics and analyses (in support of top leadership, major IT forums, Inspector General). 
  • Support deployment of solutions to enable Privileged Access Management (PAM) which is required for Zero Trust
  • IT Readiness Preparation: Prepare artifacts, briefing coordination
  • Programmatics: Cost, Schedule, Performance
  • Support administration, on/off boarding of Pus
  • Lifecycle Management
  • Coordination with stakeholders
  • Support business planning and operations responsibilities (programming, budgeting, and execution)
  • Submit and track tickets for module updates, fixes, etc.
  • Maintain and enhance process metrics, including collection, analysis, and reporting methods.

 Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly 
  • IC experience
  • BS/BA with 5+ years of demonstrated performance related to tasks above (or Associate’s with 8+ years, or 15+ years of demonstrated performance in related tasks)
  • Knowledge of DoD 8570.01M or any subsequent IT, IA, and IM direction for workforce compliance or skills development
  • Ability to excel as a member of a collaborative team through open communication, transparency, and flexibility
  • Ability to relate professionally with senior Government customers and colleagues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Reports to Chantilly, VA, up to full-time, based upon the needs of the client

 Desired Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • Master’s degree with 5+ years of demonstrated performance in related tasks
  • Certifications related to functional responsibilities, such as those specified in DoD 8570.01M and/or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
  • Experience supporting multi-agency IT initiatives with responsibilities in strategic planning, architecting, policy, governance, or portfolio management
