Allied Sports is hiring a Vice President of Partnership Development to join our fast-growing team and lead revenue driven opportunities for Allied Sports’ property clients.

 

The Vice President of Partnership Development, Properties will be a key member of the Allied Sports team and requires a proven track record of sourcing, developing, managing and closing large-scale, integrated marketing partnerships for a growing property portfolio.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales strategies to achieve revenue goals for both Allied Sports and property clients
  • Pursue prospects through initial contact, development and delivery of sales presentations, negotiation, and contract execution
  • Responsible for developing and creatively calling on a prospect pipeline through existing brand and agency relationships, network referrals, and cold calls, for potential partnership opportunities with regional, national, and international organizations
  • Collaborate with Partnership Solutions and Brand Marketing teams to develop customized marketing platforms and materials that align with prospective partner's brand/business objectives
  • Lead property relationships in conjunction with the SVP, Partnership Development
  • Support management of extended sales team via goal setting, sales support to move prospects through the sales funnel to fruition
  • Establish and build relationships with industry stakeholders in addition to key prospects, for both Allied Sports’ Business Development and property client pipelines
  • Prepare materials and updates for client calls, property meetings, and internal Partnership Development discussions
  • Deliver regular sales forecasting and pipeline reporting for Allied Sports internal leadership and clients
  • Ensure, in conjunction with finance team and Partnership Development leadership, execution, management, and fulfillment of client agreements
  • Collaborate with other Allied Sports teams to achieve company’s overall goals and objectives

 

Qualifications

  • Strong track record of closing large, integrated partnerships for major sports properties or relevant businesses
  • Ability to lead an internal sales team and external client relationships
  • Highly motivated, proactive, self-starter
  • Deep understanding of the sports marketing, entertainment and media landscapes
  • Strong contacts with decision-makers of global, national, and regional brands
  • Proven ability to prospect, cultivate, and negotiate deals
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to communicate such thoughts proactively, efficiently, and compassionately
  • Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and priorities at once
  • Excellent time management, relationship, written and oral communication skills
  • Collaborative, team-player with an inclusive and results-driven mindset
  • Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours occasionally as needed (which could include weekends)
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
