Description:
Job Purpose:
Accountable for developing, implementing, and maintaining the efficient operation of ADC research program. Responsible for providing overall administrative direction including coordinating all aspects of the ADC research program of themes such as administration, implementation, communication, resource and asset management. Requires independent decision making within a delegated area of authority and the exercise of leadership in the management of support services.
Key Accountability:
- Provide administrative direction regarding the operation of the ADC research program by examining, reviewing, and assessing long-term and immediate needs.
- Collect, analyse, assess, and summarize operational information relevant to the decision-making process and develop recommendations for final approval and implementation.
- Counsel ADC Research Theme Leaders to ensure that they understand established theme flow guidelines and reporting requirements.
- Plan and coordinate arrangements for research theme evaluations and annual ADC research events. This includes representing the company with external partners for joint activities.
- Exercise appropriate fiscal controls and processes for research operations. Monitor and reconcile budgetary accounts.
- Develop estimates of time, resources, and budgets for various program activities and events.
- Make independent operational decisions to achieve program objectives.
- Exercise of leadership in the management of support services.
- Balance operational objectives to achieve short -term and long-term goals and deadlines.
- Must take initiative, be self -sufficient and work independently.
- Occasional travel for purposes such as training, conferences, and on-site visits with partners.
- Frequently deals with multiple requests and simultaneous deadlines.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- 2 yr. associate degree or 3 yrs, related experience. Japanese language skills are desired.
