V&V Hardware Test Engineer

As an Verification/Validation Hardware Test Engineer you will be responsible for;
- Utilizing initiative and independent judgment, construct and assist in evaluating engineering models using conceptual descriptions and ideas.
- Evaluate and test designs for MR and components
- Develop testing methods, to assess MR compatibility of implants
- Execute mechanical and electrical evaluation and implement plans using knowledge of product, system operation, intermodular interactions, complex engineering tools, and interactive software tools as required.
- Responsible for verification and validation of new or changed products including generating plans, protocols, and reports for testing performed.
- Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, testing procedures, or new testing requirements
- Participate in defect tracking and analysis
- Provide technical assistance to customers, field service personnel, or suppliers as needed.
- Comply with EHS regulations and policies.
Qualifications;
- Minimum of a B.S./B.A. degree in Engineering and 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrated intuitive and advanced proficiency to logically troubleshoot up to system level, using identifiable problem-solving techniques and previous experience as a system integration (bay) and lab technician in either an electrical discipline.
- 5+ years experience with verification and validation processes of electro-mechanical equipment (MR equipment strongly preferred)
- Must have hardware testing experience within medical device industry
- Must have experience with PLM tools, MS office defector issue tracking tools
- Familiarity with EE and ME benchtop equipment
Location: On-site in Waukesha, WI
Salary: $70,000 to $90,000
