As a Systems Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role throughout the entire product development lifecycle — from early-stage concept studies to system architecture design, specification, and functional development. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including technology specialists, component owners, solution providers, and product managers to shape innovative solutions that align with customer needs.
In this role, you will lead and coordinate system engineering efforts within complex development programs. This includes evaluating design alternatives, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and securing technical approvals from internal and external partners — including regulatory bodies when required. You will also guide the creation of cross-functional specifications and clearly communicate the impact of design solutions on the electrical system architecture.
You’ll be responsible for proposing system-level design strategies, including electrical schematics and functional diagrams relevant to your area of ownership. Additionally, you will develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for Vehicle Dynamics functionalities.
Another important aspect of your work involves supporting diagnostics and network analysis. You’ll use advanced tools to capture and analyze on-vehicle data, helping to troubleshoot issues and drive improvements in system performance.
You’ll be part of a Systems Engineering team focused on shaping robust electrical and electronic solutions in collaboration with both global and local stakeholders.

- Solid understanding of hardware/software systems architecture and development lifecycle
- Familiarity with industry-standard communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, K-line
- Proficiency in software development tools, diagnostics systems, and aftermarket solutions
- Experience working in cross-functional, global teams
- Comfortable working in Agile environments, ideally with experience in SAFe methodologies
- Knowledge of quality standards, including QMS, SFMEA, and other quality tools
Expertise in systems engineering, embedded systems, and industry standards such as ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and J1939
