
Release Manager

As a Release Manager you will be responsible for;
- Handle scrum, SAFe and waterfall methodologies, leading the delivery model through the several applied methodologies.
- Continuously keep in sync, review, and adapt the adequation between business targets & content, speed & quality, organizational & people readiness to delivery consistent business releases and value.
- Synchronize all actors, and has to interact with an extremely large stakeholder panel, between project streams, functions, countries and seniority
- Interface with the Airbus internal global IM organization to secure platform readiness, guarantee handover to the “run” mode and quality end user service delivery towards Airbus Canada
- Drive the definition of regular business releases to implement coherent value across various streams
- Structure and deliver the release management of all Applications, ensuring interdependencies management and any impact on the TSAs & budget
- Coordinate / drumbeat the EIS Readiness and preparation, including the CutOvers
- Feed the portfolio to identify the impacts of any transformation delivery on the separation journey, and vice versa
- Implement & document a formal process to validate OTCQ of the different deliverables
This profile is expected to be a highly skilled professional profile with proven leadership skills. Demonstrated Agile / SAFe competencies are required. The capacity to speak IT language as well as Business language is required.
Qualifications;
- 5-10+ years experience in Release Management, Delivery Management, or Agile Program Management
- Strong in SAFe, Agile, and Waterfall delivery models
- Experience as EPIC Owner, RTE, or similar in Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments
- Experience in enterprise-wide delivery orchestration, ideally in aerospace, manufacturing, or large industrial IT
- Familiar with transition states (TSA, M&A, carve-outs) and cutover management
- Excellent stakeholder management: interfacing across functions, geographies, and seniority levels
- Tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, ServiceNow, Planisware, or similar
Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
