ABOUT THE DATA DEPARTMENT
We are a team of passionate and dedicated data engineers, analysts and scientists who are on a mission to build data products that solve the needs of our customers. This includes a Data Warehouse, BI dashboards, Impact tracking and Predictive & AI models. We work as business partners with our key stakeholders to empower them with data access, visibility and insights to make data driven decisions and optimise outcomes (enrolment, payment, retention, placements) across the talent journey to enable growth and scale while minimising costs.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Full Stack Business Intelligence Architect, you will be working with the latest cloud technologies to design and implement the next generation data pipelines, analytics and BI platform to support our whole system of learning applications and selection application to deliver the best-in-class technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Architecture and Implementation:
- Design, implement, and maintain our Data Warehouse and Data Lake infrastructure.
- Build end-to-end BI solutions, including data visualization, data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Create scalable ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Data Quality and Security:
- Ensure high standards of data quality, security, and compliance across all platforms.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve data reliability, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Innovation and Standards:
- Lead the architecture design process for BI and analytics solutions.
- Maintain and improve coding standards, delivery processes, and architectural best practices.
- Collaboration and Mentorship:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Support and advise product and project managers on technical aspects of data solutions.
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance on BI development and data engineering best practices.
- Review and Improvement:
- Review code and proposed solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements and performance standards.
- Drive innovation by staying updated on the latest data technologies and leading adoption initiatives.

- Delivery of scalable and reliable data infrastructure.
- High-quality and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
- Enhanced data accessibility and usability for teams.
- Improved adoption of BI tools and insights within the organization.
REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years of experience in data warehousing development, including ETL design and implementation.
- Expertise in SQL programming and relational database systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS Redshift).
- Proficiency in architecting and developing large-scale data warehouses and near real-time data lake solutions.
- Strong experience with report development tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, or Excel.
- Extensive knowledge of dimensional data modelling, data storytelling, and data visualization techniques.
- Proven ability to architect solutions for both structured and unstructured data at scale.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with a passion for learning and adopting new technologies.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience with AWS tools such as S3, Glue, Redshift, and QuickSight.
- Proficiency with modern data tools like DBT and integration with external APIs.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Bash, Spark, or PySpark.
