About The Role & Team


Join Amplitude as a Product Evangelist & Strategist and play a key role in shaping the evolution of our cutting-edge product analytics platform. This is more than a strategy role—it's a unique opportunity to influence the future of the analytics industry. You'll foster deep engagement with senior-level customers and partners, drive product vision, refine market positioning & messaging and speak at conferences and events. As a thought leader, you’ll help define what’s next in the rapidly evolving world of marketing & product analytics, collaborating with a dynamic team that’s passionate about empowering businesses to build better products.

 As a Product Evangelist & Strategist  you will: 

  • Develop, refine, and articulate Amplitude's vision for marketing analytics, positioning our platform as a comprehensive solution
  • Deep understanding of the digital analytics landscape, particularly Adobe Analytics, CJA and Google Analytics
  • Experience in developing competitive strategies against enterprise-level analytics solutions
  • Technical knowledge of cross-channel data integration and analysis
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications in analytics
  • Expertise in data privacy regulations and compliance standards
  • Customer & Partner Interaction: Build relationships with customers and partners to enhance their understanding of Amplitude while positioning the platform effectively in the competitive landscape.
  • Content Creation & Evangelism: Create compelling content, deliver educational initiatives, and evangelize Amplitude's products and methodologies both internally and externally.
  • Develop Product Strategy: Refine Amplitude's product strategy, ensuring alignment with company vision and market opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across the organization to translate customer needs into actionable product roadmaps.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent Amplitude at conferences and trade shows, showcasing our solutions and differentiating them within the industry.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in product analytics.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Lead initiatives to enhance product offerings and drive customer adoption.
  • Thought Leadership: Provide strategic advice and insights to internal teams and customers to help them build better products.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets to draw actionable insights that inform product decisions.
  • Value Communication: Articulate product value and strategy to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Foster a culture of shared expertise, uplifting the knowledge base of those around you.

You’ll be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: 10+ years in marketing and digital analytics, a CMO role or direct report is a plus
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in developing impactful product strategies and driving growth.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of marketing & digital analytics technologies and methodologies; proficiency in tools such as Amplitude & Adobe Analytics is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences, including enterprise-level clients and C-suite executives.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Amplitude, Adobe Analytics) are a plus.
  • Strategic Thinker: Adept at solving complex business problems with innovative solutions.
  • Customer-Centric: Passionate about delivering value and expertise tailored to customer needs.
  • Versatile: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment serving diverse customer segments (Majors, Commercial midmarket, Startups).
  • Collaborative: Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado. Colorado range: $190,000 - $285,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in New York City. New York City salary range: $210,000 - $315,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $210,000 - $315,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $190,000 - $285,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $190,000 - $285,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)

Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only: unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary), medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans. Finally, a company sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
