Key Skills and Responsibilities

  • Experience (7+ years in SaaS renewals, sales, or customer success): As an Anaplan Renewal Manager, you'll be responsible for managing customer renewals, ensuring timely execution of processes, collaborating with Customer Success and Sales teams, and effectively negotiating renewal terms, while also handling customer inquiries and managing a rolling forecast of renewals
  • Manage Customer Renewals: Oversee the entire renewal process, from initial contact to contract execution, ensuring smooth and timely renewals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Success and Sales teams to understand customer needs and ensure alignment on renewal strategies.
  • Negotiation: Effectively negotiate renewal terms, including pricing, contract duration, and scope of services with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Customer Relationship and Communication: Handle customer inquiries and concerns related to renewals, providing timely and accurate information. Build and maintain strong relationships with Anaplan customers
  • Renewal Forecasting: Manage a rolling forecast of renewals, identifying potential risks and opportunities ensuring the accuracy and precision of renewal forecasts and report. Prepare and deliver regular reports on renewal performance and key metrics.
  • Process Improvement: Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks related to renewals, such as churn or contract disputes.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer contracts and renewal activities.
  • Business Process Documentation: Document and maintain business processes related to renewals.
  • Proactive Communication: Stay in constant communication with customers, keeping them informed about their renewal status and any relevant updates.
  • Renewal Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of renewal strategies.
  • Analytical Skills: Utilize analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities in renewal data.
  • Change Management: Effectively manage changes to renewal processes and procedures.
  • Language Proficiency (Advanced oral and written communication): Excellent communication skills are vital, particularly in Japanese and English. The ability to clearly convey ideas, listen effectively, and adapt communication style to different audiences is key.
