Job Description

Anaplan is looking for a UX Designer to join our global User Experience team. You’ll be based in our Gurugram, India Office, contributing to the design of intuitive, data-rich, and scalable experiences that power enterprise planning across finance, operations, and strategy.

As an individual contributor, you’ll work on key areas of the Anaplan platform, partnering with product, engineering, and research teams to solve complex user challenges. You’ll play an active role in delivering high-quality design work, contributing to our design system, and growing your impact within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

This role is ideal for a designer who is building confidence in end-to-end delivery and is ready to take on more ownership within cross-functional teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design and deliver user-centered solutions for defined areas of the Anaplan platform, translating user needs into clear, intuitive experiences through flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers across discovery and delivery, contributing to design decisions and iterating based on feedback and user insights.
  • Apply and contribute to our design system and UX standards, ensuring consistency and quality across experiences.
  • Participate in discovery activities such as workshops, journey mapping, and usability testing, supporting the team in understanding user needs and validating design directions.
  • Present your work to stakeholders with clarity, explaining design decisions and incorporating feedback to improve outcomes.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions, helping to simplify complex workflows for enterprise users.
  • Support the design of AI-powered features by contributing to interaction design, prototyping, and testing, helping translate capabilities such as recommendations or automation into usable product experiences.
  • Prototype and explore new ideas using tools such as Figma and emerging AI tools, contributing to experimentation and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and effectively integrated into user workflows.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2–4 years of experience in UX or product design, ideally within SaaS or data-rich environments.
  • Strong foundation in user-cantered design principles and design thinking methods.
  • Ability to design clear, usable solutions for moderately complex workflows and interactions.
  • Proficiency with Figma, prototyping, and working within design systems.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas and rationale clearly.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and open to feedback and iteration.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI, and an interest in how they shape user experiences.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience designing for enterprise, B2B, or workflow-driven applications.
  • Exposure to AI-powered features or data-driven experiences (e.g. recommendations, automation, or insights).
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies and how design translates to implementation.
  • Experience working in Agile product teams.

WHY JOIN US

This is a great opportunity to grow your impact as a UX designer on a platform used by some of the world’s most complex businesses. You’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive UX team that values learning, design quality, and continuous improvement. You’ll work on real-world problems at enterprise scale, contributing to evolving AI-powered experiences and gaining exposure to how intelligent features are designed, tested, and delivered within complex user workflows.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
