The Role: 

Angi is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Compensation & Equity Analyst to manage and administer the Company's equity plans. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of equity transactions, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to plan participants. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of equity administration principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role will also support data management tasks within the People Ops team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Equity Plan Administration: Manage the day-to-day administration of equity compensation plans, including restricted stock units (RSUs), performance-based stock units (PSUs), market-based stock units (MSUs), and other equity-based awards.
  • Transaction Processing: Process equity transactions, including grants, exercises, vesting, cancellations, and transfers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to plan rules and legal requirements.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of equity grants, exercises, holdings, and participant information, utilizing equity administration software and other relevant systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state securities laws, tax regulations, and company policies related to equity compensation. File Forms 3 and 4 for Section 16 insiders. Stay up to date on changes in regulations and best practices.
  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute reports related to equity compensation, including equity overhang report, equity forecast, and financial reporting disclosures. Assist with audits and other compliance-related requests.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile equity plan data with internal records and third-party administrators, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Participant Support: Provide exceptional customer service to plan participants, answering questions regarding their equity awards, plan provisions, and transaction processes. Educate employees on equity plan features and benefits.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with third-party vendors, such as equity administration software providers and transfer agents, to ensure seamless plan administration.
  • Data Management: Support data management and integrity for the Compensation team, including audits within Angi’s HR systems to validate consistency and accuracy across people data.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline equity administration and data management processes and enhance efficiency.

Who you are:

  • You have 1-5 years of experience in equity administration, preferably in a publicly traded company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of equity compensation plans, including RSUs, PSUs, MSUs, and other equity-based awards.
  • Experience with equity administration software (e.g., Shareworks, E*TRADE, Certent) is required. Shareworks experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of securities laws, tax regulations, and accounting principles related to equity compensation (e.g., ASC 718).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The salary band for this position ranges from $85,000 - $105,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living. 
  • This position will be eligible for a competitive year end performance bonus & equity package.
