Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and champion a clear product vision and strategy for the Mobile App Platform that supports Angi’s internal development teams to deliver delightful experiences for our global user base.

  • Conduct continuous competitive analysis and maintain a deep understanding of current trends in mobile OS updates (iOS/Android), development frameworks, and tooling to ensure the platform remains cutting-edge and compliant.
  • Translate platform initiatives (e.g., feature development, performance optimization,  tech debt) into measurable business outcomes, aligning platform work with the needs of the consumer-facing product teams.

Execution & Leadership

  • Empower feature teams within the mobile wrap, coordinating dependencies, aligning release schedules, and ensuring the smooth adoption of new platform components and services.
  • Act as the primary interface between feature-focused Product Managers, Engineering leaders, and Infrastructure teams, communicating technical value to non-technical stakeholders and securing buy-in for platform investment.
  • Manage the platform backlog, write detailed technical product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for platform engineering teams.
  • Provide program management and product marketing support and to feature teams so they can understand and align roadmaps with the mobile app platform.
  • Define and monitor key platform health metrics (e.g., crash rates, app size, build times, platform adoption rate, latency) and drive initiatives to continuously improve them.

Data & Analytical Expertise

  • Leverage deep analytical expertise and mobile usage data (A/B test results, funnel analysis, engagement metrics) to identify platform bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
  • Establish data governance and quality standards for all mobile instrumentation, ensuring feature teams collect accurate, high-fidelity data that supports consumer-facing product analysis.
  • Utilize data to inform product decisions, quantify the impact of platform changes, and assess the ROI of technical investments.
