ANINE BING is looking for a Group Manager (Accessories) to join its Design team at the Paris HQ.
The Group Manager will lead a dynamic team and oversee the development and execution of our non-apparel accessories collections, ensuring alignment with the brand’s creative direction and commercial objectives.
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong background in accessories product development. You possess exceptional technical expertise, creativity, and commercial acumen and are adept at balancing innovation with cost and sustainability considerations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the Development and production teams, ensuring smooth coordination from design to finished product.
- Work closely with the accessories team to translate creative concepts into commercially viable collections.
- Define and implement the accessories collection strategy, balancing innovation, craftsmanship, and business objectives.
- Ensure the feasibility and industrialization of designs, optimizing materials, manufacturing techniques, and costs.
- Oversee supplier relationships and material sourcing, ensuring quality and timely production.
- Ensure pricing and margin objectives are met, optimizing costs while maintaining product integrity.
- Coordinate with merchandising and retail teams to align collections with market needs and commercial performance.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust future collection planning based on commercial feedback and business needs.
- Drive sustainability initiatives within the accessories category, ensuring materials and production processes align with the brand’s environmental commitments.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 7+ years in accessories collection management, product development, or production within the fashion industry.
- Languages: Fluency in both English and French is mandatory.
- Strong technical knowledge of materials, production processes, and development constraints.
- Experience managing teams across development and production.
- Collaboration & leadership: Ability to engage and align cross-functional teams, working closely with design, merchandising, and supply chain.
- Analytical mindset: Strong ability to interpret sales performance data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Project management skills: Experience overseeing product lifecycle, supplier coordination, and development timelines.
