ANINE BING is looking for a Head of Ecommerce to lead the growth and optimization of our global ecommerce site and mobile app.  

This role will focus on enhancing the digital customer journey—from landing page to checkout—by improving site experience, driving key performance metrics, and ensuring a seamless, on-brand experience across all touchpoints.  This role will be responsible for the channel P&L and will oversee website development, site merchandising, channel content strategy, UX/UI and customer service. 

This is a key leadership role on our Digital team, based at our Los Angeles HQ on a hybrid in-office schedule, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the ecommerce site experience across UI/UX, navigation, product storytelling, and on-site merchandising
  • Drive key performance metrics—including CVR, AOV, UPT, bounce rate, and site speed—through continuous testing and optimization
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team across UX/UI design, digital merchandising, styling and customer experience
  • Translate seasonal campaigns and collection launches into elevated, high-converting digital moments in close partnership with brand and creative
  • Oversee core ecommerce functionality—including international pricing, checkout, shipping, and returns—to ensure a seamless global experience
  • Use customer behavior insights and analytics to identify friction points and improve the onsite journey across mobile and desktop
  • Own the technical stack related to site experience (e.g., Shopify Plus, UX apps, Global-E, personalization and localization tools) and recommend enhancements leveraging data to build high impact customer experiences boosting engagement, conversion and LTV 
  • Own and manage the development roadmap, including ADA compliance, partnering closely with IT and Operations on platform updates and migrations ensuring successful implementation 
  • Maximize the site experience and website profitability internationally by setting country specific pricing and shipping strategies.
  • Partner closely with the Digital Marketing teams to drive new customer acquisition and increase retention rates of the ecommerce customer base resulting in growth of the business. 

Requirements

  • 8+ years of ecommerce experience in fashion or luxury, with proven expertise in UX, site experience, and digital merchandising
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing digital teams and cross-functional projects
  • Strong design instincts and understanding of front-end ecommerce platforms and technologies
  • Highly analytical mindset with fluency in using ecommerce data to drive decisions
  • Excellent project management skills, a strong problem solver with clear attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Shopify Plus and tools within the ecosystem for A/B testing and analytics (Google Analytics, etc)
  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt strategies as business needs evolve, with a hands on approach to driving execution and delivering results
  • Global ecommerce experience and international pricing exposure is a plus
