ANINE BING is looking for a Product Developer for accessories to join its Product Development team based in Paris.

This role is essential in managing the product lifecycle for accessories from concept to production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with the brand’s creative vision and commercial objectives.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric sourcing, and vendor communication. They will collaborate closely with Design, Technical, and Production teams to bring innovative and high-quality collections to life.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept through final production, ensuring timelines are met and quality standards are upheld.
  • Lead the development, sourcing, and tracking of new fabrics, washes, trims, and finishes.
  • Communicate daily with vendors to ensure sample accuracy, adherence to deadlines, and production feasibility.
  • Use PLM systems to manage product data and maintain an organized merchandise assortment.
  • Work cross-functionally with Technical teams to ensure garments meet fit and production standards.
  • Collaborate with Design teams to facilitate approval comments and feedback on samples.
  • Coordinate with Creative and Wholesale teams to ensure timely handoff of SMS samples.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Oversee strike-offs, prints, lab dips, fabric, and color approvals.
  • Review and approve all samples prior to final handoff to Production.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Development, preferably in contemporary or luxury fashion.
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, textile development, and sourcing.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and overseeing product timelines.
  • Proficiency in PLM systems and technical software (Adobe Illustrator is a plus).
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or a related field preferred.
