Email Marketing Manager

Remote

We’re Changing the PropTech Industry

We’re a profitable, growth-stage company building industry-leading martech and data products for the PropTech space. Our focus is on our category-leading AI and data SaaS products with triple-digit growth rates.

We’re a fully remote team of 100+ spread across the U.S. from coast to coast. We operate on a strict no a**holes policy and are proud to have built a community of highly performant people that take our work seriously, but not ourselves. And, we're looking for exceptional people to help further accelerate our growth.

While we’ve raised $30MM+ to date from some of the world’s best investors, we’re profitable with a strong balance sheet and an indefinite runway. We pride ourselves on achieving rapid growth without having to incinerate capital.

About Our Products

ApartmentIQ is the all-in-one data platform powering smarter decisions across multifamily - covering 40M units with daily property and market intelligence used for surveys, research, and revenue management. We're trusted by 65% of the NMHC Top 50. Our sister company, MavenAI, delivers AI-powered marketing automation built by industry experts and integrated directly with property management systems, serving over 2M units.

The Role

You’ll own the outbound email engine for our 20+ person SDR team. Every sequence, every subject line, every cadence will be owned by you. This is the role where outbound performance gets won or lost. You’ll build sequences that book meetings, A/B test relentlessly, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with SDRs, AEs, and demand gen to translate what’s working in live conversations into scalable email and content assets.

You’re analytical, creative, and fast. You measure everything. You treat outbound like product — ship, learn, iterate. This is a high-ownership IC role reporting to the VP of Marketing, working closely with the SDR leadership team, RevOps, Demand Gen, and Product Marketing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Outbound Orchestration & Campaign Management:
    • Omnichannel Strategy: Expert-level proficiency in designing and executing "warmbound" and cold outbound workflows using orchestration tools (e.g., AmpleMarket).
    • Campaign Lifecycle Planning: Ability to synchronize outbound "waves" with broader marketing motions, including product launches, webinars, and real-time industry trends.
    • Intent-Driven Execution: Skill in mapping sequences to specific buying triggers and intent signals to increase relevance and conversion.
  • Data-Driven Optimization & Performance Analysis:
    • Rigorous A/B Testing: Mastery of multivariate testing across subject lines, CTAs, and cadences to isolate high-performing variables.
    • Full-Funnel Analytics: Ability to build and maintain comprehensive dashboards tracking KPIs from open rates through to "meeting-held" and pipeline velocity.
    • Insight Synthesis: Competency in translating raw performance data into "next bet" strategic recommendations for leadership.
  • Persona-Centric Messaging & Copywriting:
    • ICP & Persona Mapping: Deep understanding of mapping specific pain points and competitive landscapes to tailored messaging.
    • Qualitative Synthesis: Ability to bridge the gap between sales and marketing by translating live SDR call feedback into scalable high-conversion assets.
    • Advanced Personalization: Skilled in moving beyond "spray and pray" to high-relevance segmentation based on firmographics and technographics.
  • Technical Operations & Deliverability:
    • Domain Hygiene & Compliance: Expert knowledge of sender reputation management, inbox warmup, and global privacy regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
    • RevOps Partnership: Proficiency in collaborating with operations teams to engineer clean lead handoffs and seamless CRM transitions between SDRs and AEs.
    • AI Integration: Ability to leverage LLMs (Claude, ChatGPT) and AI tooling to scale personalized outreach while maintaining a distinct, human-centric brand voice
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Sales Enablement: Proven ability to partner with large SDR teams to provide the tools, copy, and insights needed for outbound success.
    • Nurture & Re-engagement: Skill in developing long-term "hand-off" and "circle-back" strategies for prospects who are not yet ready to buy.

What We’re Looking For:

  • B2B outbound experience: Proven track record leading outbound at a B2B SaaS company. You’ve owned sequences for an SDR team and have the metrics to prove they worked. You know how to generate qualified pipeline without leaning on paid.
  • Sharp, modern copywriter: You write outbound that doesn’t sound like outbound. Short, specific, human.
  • Analytical and data-driven: You measure what works, what doesn’t, and optimize accordingly. Comfortable in HubSpot, outbound platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Test-and-learn operator: You run real experiments, not directional ones. You know how to structure A/B tests that produce decisions.
  • Tight collaboration with sales: You’ve sat next to SDRs and AEs, listened to calls, and turned conversations into copy. You don’t build in a vacuum.
  • Creativity and agility: Fast-paced, ambiguity-tolerant, detail-oriented. Comfortable pivoting when the data tells you to.
  • Growth mentality: Eager to learn, experiment, and continuously improve.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience marketing into multifamily, real estate, or proptech
  • Familiarity with signal-based outbound and “warmbound” approaches, and implementing those alongside cold outbound
  • Hands-on with AI-native outbound tooling (Clay, Smartlead, Instantly, n8n, Claude, ChatGPT, etc.).
  • Email deliverability expertise: DMARC, DKIM, SPF, warmup strategy, ESP migrations.

Why Choose Us:

  • Remote-First: We offer the freedom to work from home across most of the U.S. You’ll enjoy the flexibility of remote work, balanced with high-energy in-person offsites to build real connections and celebrate our wins together.
  • Competitive Compensation: We believe in hiring the best and paying accordingly. You’ll receive a competitive salary that reflects your impact and expertise.
  • Paid Time Off: Take the time you need with our flexible vacation policy and dedicated paid parental leave to support you and your family’s biggest milestones.
  • Your Health Matters: Stay healthy with high-quality Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans for you and your family.
  • Peace of Mind (On Us): We fully invest in your security with 100% company-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Basic Life Insurance.
  • Protection for Your Whole Crew: Access supplemental insurance for the unexpected, plus specialized coverage to keep your pets happy and healthy, too.
  • Invest in Your Future: Secure your financial goals with our 401k Program, helping you build for the long term while you help us build the company.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
