This position is for the ITCloud business unit Servicing Canadian IT professionals and their business customers since 2005, IT Cloud is an authorized Canadian Distributor for Microsoft, Acronis, Bitdefender, AvePoint, BitTitan, Letsignit and NinjaOne. Through our partner channel, we provision Canadian businesses with the most powerful corporate cloud solutions for continuity, cybersecurity and productivity. Highly skilled on both the technical and business sides, our team backs up our partners-resellers with technical, sales, marketing and administrative enablement so they can build a successful business while provisioning their client-base through our simple and secure marketplace.
About You
The Information Technology Provider Manager is responsible for overseeing the selection, management, and performance of IT service providers and technology vendors. This role ensures that all external IT partners deliver value, meet contractual obligations, and align with the organization’s strategic goals. The manager acts as the primary liaison between the company and its IT providers, driving operational excellence, cost-effectiveness, and innovation.
What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact
- Provider & Vendor Management:
- Establish, negotiate, and manage provider contracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company policies.
- Oversee the onboarding and offboarding of IT service providers.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, regularly reviewing performance and resolving issues.
- Service Delivery & Performance:
- Ensure providers meet agreed-upon service levels (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor and report on provider performance, escalating issues as needed.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of provider solutions.
- Understand provider promotions, competitive upgrades and incentives.
- Strategic Planning & Procurement:
- Identify new providers and technology solutions to support business objectives.
- Stay current with market trends and recommend improvements or new services.
- Contract & Financial Management:
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and renewals to optimize costs and value.
- Track budgets, invoices, and expenditures related to IT providers.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure all providers comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with third-party IT services.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Drive process improvements for provider management and service delivery.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders to enhance provider relationships and outcomes.
What we’re looking for
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT provider/vendor management, contract negotiation, and service delivery.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, APIs/integrations, and marketplace products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess performance data and drive improvements.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and risk management best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure) and IT marketplace ecosystems.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and financial management.
