About You

We’re on the hunt for a customer-obsessed Product Manager to join our Platform team, owning core platform capabilities on both the Tackle platform and Salesforce app integration, such as authentication, user management, onboarding, integrations, dashboards, and shared services that empower other domain teams. This puts you at the heart of powering cloud GTM journeys for some of the largest technology companies in the world. You’ll partner closely with engineering, design, and customer-facing teams to define a clear product vision, prioritize high-impact initiatives, and deliver solutions that make our platform more scalable, reliable, and valuable for customers. 

What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact

  • Product Ownership: Own the roadmap for core platform services, such as onboarding, integrations, authentication, user management, and shared tools, to enable domain teams to deliver customer value.
  • Roadmap & Prioritization: Shape the Tackle roadmap, making thoughtful trade-offs between short-term delivery and long-term platform investments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to ship features and iterate on feedback.
  • Customer & Internal Feedback: Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather insights, validate solutions, and ensure that features solve real problems.
  • Data-Informed Decisions: Use qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize work, define success metrics, and measure impact.
  • Communication & Documentation: Clearly communicate plans, progress, and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders, producing concise, actionable product artifacts.
  • Adoption: Support domain teams in effectively adopting platform capabilities, reducing friction and improving cross-team outcomes.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of product management experience in enterprise B2B SaaS products. 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience owning a product area end-to-end, including roadmap definition, prioritization, delivery, and driving adoption.
  • Experience shipping Platform capabilities such as integrations, authentication systems, user management, APIs, or shared services supporting multiple teams or products.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner closely with engineering and design to translate ambiguous problems into clear requirements and shipped solutions.
  • Comfort making prioritization trade-offs using customer insights, business context, and data  to effectively balance immediate needs with longer-term platform health.
  • Experience engaging with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, validate assumptions, and ensure solutions solve real problems.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain product decisions, trade-offs, and progress to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions, define success metrics, and measure impact.
  • A collaborative mindset and interest in enabling other teams to move faster and build better products on shared platform capabilities.
  • Have experience working with or building products on Salesforce, including familiarity with its data models and workflows (Nice to have).
  • Have experience improving onboarding flows, identifying “aha moments,” and reducing time-to-value for a product or feature (Nice to have).

The salary band listed below reflects the expected annual base salary or OTE (on-target earnings) for this role at AppDirect and may be subject to change.

Base salary or OTE is just one component of AppDirect’s total compensation package. In addition to base pay, regular employees may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and a full range of benefits.
