ESTIMATED PAY RANGE
$65,000 - $85,000, DOE
JOB SUMMARY
As a Product Support Engineer in Fargo, ND, you may: collaborate with design engineers to develop, refine, and validate mechanical components and systems; support design reviews and testing activities; coordinate timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple design projects; facilitate communication between engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams; assist in documentation, BOM creation, and change management using Windchill or similar systems; apply informal project management skills to track progress, identify risks, and ensure alignment with program goals; contribute to continuous improvement efforts in design processes and product performance; support root cause analysis and corrective actions for design-related issue, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient in Creo
- Ability to travel once per week to client locations (within driving distance, no overnight stays)
- Informal project management experience tracking timelines, deliverables, and risks
- Documentation and process optimization experience
- Experience with PLM systems like Windchill for BOM and change management
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and diagnostics
- Familiarity with design validation, testing, and root cause analysis
- Experience in agricultural, industrial, or high-tech machinery environments strongly preferred
