Lead Engineer - Full stack

We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to join our Corporate Technology team with a strong focus on cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will be instrumental in planning, designing, and implementing various applications and infrastructure used across the organization, with particular emphasis on Cloud Solutions Architecture. The primary focus will be on developing and managing applications built with cloud-native and serverless technologies, leveraging AWS (Amazon Web Services) and/or Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional software developer with extensive experience in cloud-based technologies, identity management solutions, and a strong understanding of solving business needs through emerging technologies. Emphasis will be placed on building cost-effective applications that support zero-touch operations. You will be part of a high-impact team responsible for the full technology stack, including applications, infrastructure, existing SaaS products, and integration solutions.

What You'll Do

• Build, enhance, and support serverless applications using AWS Services such as Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and CloudWatch
• Develop integrations with third-party SaaS applications, including custom user provisioning, SSO implementation, data migration automations, and custom integrations
• Implement and manage observability solutions using tools like Grafana and other monitoring platforms to ensure system health and performance visibility
• Solve complex business problems by developing high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code following software development best practices and coding standards, while minimizing operational overhead
• Utilize AWS Cloud Development Kit or Terraform as the infrastructure-as-code tool to ensure seamless deployment with minimal manual intervention
• Mentor and guide junior developers through regular code and design reviews, sharing knowledge on software engineering principles, design patterns, and architectural best practices
• Design and build Enterprise-Grade Middleware capable of integrating with various SaaS products.
• Lead the architecture and design of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and optimal performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and provide expertise in system design decisions
• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from planning and requirements through development, testing, and quality assurance
• Create comprehensive documentation and participate in stakeholder discussions
• Apply exceptional problem-solving skills to troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, implement solutions, and establish preventive measures
• AI based enhancements and initiatives on how you can leverage expertise to boost the Productivity, User Experience and Collaboration for our end users. 

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
• 5+ years of solid software development experience with a proven track record in delivering quality software solutions
• High proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, Typescript preferred in that order)
• Experience in full-stack development with proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies
• Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or similar monitoring platforms
• Exceptional analytical, technical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS Cloud Development Kit, or Terraform
• Expertise in several of the following areas: Object-oriented programming, RESTful web services design, non-structured/structured database design, AWS Cloud services, containerized microservices using Docker and Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Familiarity with cloud-native and/or serverless architecture
• Experience with Material UI (MUI) component library, knowledge of modern frontend frameworks, particularly ReactJS with a knowledge of state management solutions will be considered a plus
• Experience with AI – Prompt Engineering, Generative AI, Agentic AI, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude would be a plus
• Knowledge of authentication (AuthN) and authorization (AuthZ) concepts and implementation
• Cloud certifications in AWS/Azure would be highly advantageous
