Job Title: Propulsion Systems Control Engineer Worksite: 190 W. Tasman Drive, San Jose, CA 95134 Salary Range: $134,493.00 to $147,942.30 per year
What You’ll Do
-
Develop and support the propulsion control system.

Design, integrate, and verify the propulsion control system.

Contribute to the development and verification of safety-critical components of the aircraft
control system.

Contribute to the most exciting problems in the propulsion control space for electric aircraft.

Hands- on hardware bring-up, build and component validation for high quality, robust, scalable
and functional control system with C/C++ code.

Conduct development and verification for certifiable safety critical components of the aircraft
control system.

Develop an automated Hardware-In-Loop (HIL) and Software-In- Loop (SIL) validation platform
and infrastructure.

Improve the level of automation, efficiency, and accuracy of the propulsion control system
validation.

Work with systems and software engineers to define high-level and low-level control system
software requirements in compliance with DO-178C and support the certification of safety critical firmware to comply with DO-178C.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have completed theoretical coursework in electric machines, linear and non-linear systems control, advanced robotics, vehicle dynamics or battery management systems control. Must be skilled in MATLAB/Simulink, Labview, PCAN-explorer, and C/C++.
