About this Role

We’re looking for a strong, hands-on, marketing leader who will play a key role in driving Arkestro’s growth by developing and executing marketing strategies that align with our vision and customer needs. This role is responsible for leading a small team building highly effective programs across all the aspects of marketing - brand management, digital marketing, product marketing, demand generation, and customer engagement.  We haven’t yet figured it all out and we need someone who can jump on the train with us and continue to help build this extraordinary business. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and maximize revenue. Work closely with other members of the executive team to align marketing strategies with business objectives. Continually analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Brand Development:  Lead our brand awareness efforts and market positioning to ensure consistency across all our channels.  Consistently looking to create content, messaging, and design that enhances our brand.
  • Digital Marketing:  Lead digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, email campaigns and social media to optimize customer/prospect engagement and conversion.
  • Field Marketing Events: Ensure that Arkestro is represented at key industry events and develop opportunities to showcase our successes with our customers.  Analyze participation metrics and collaborate with Sales to ensure that these opportunities are embedded in our Sales outreach strategies, and are an effective part of our overall Demand Generation plan. 
  • Demand Generation: Develop and manage lead generation and customer acquisition strategies that drive sales pipeline and revenue growth. Monitor and analyze campaign performance to maximize ROI and adjust tactics as needed.
  • Product Marketing: Partner with Product Management to define go-to-market strategies for product releases. Develop Marketing material that effectively communicates the product's value proposition and competitive differentiators to target audiences.
  • Analyst and Public Relations: Develop and oversee PR strategies with our 3rd party to manage the company’s brand, as well as managing our relationship with analyst firms such as Hackett and Gartner.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results-driven execution. 
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring all marketing activities are cost-effective and delivering measurable results. Monitor, evaluate, and report on marketing performance metrics (KPIs) to measure effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

  • Must have startup experience: the role absolutely requires a dynamic, passionate leader, manager, and team builder with proven success in early stage ventures
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies for enterprise customers including (digital marketing, brand management, and lead generation strategies)
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, including leadership experience
  • Ability to think strategically and lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Adept at truly rolling up your sleeves and doing the work
  • Strategic thinker with broad functional experience spanning customer insights, brand strategy and marketing, product marketing, strategic planning, promotion, digital and social marketing and public relations.
  • Experience in leading new product development and launches in high-growth tech businesses, 
  • An expert communicator with a strong ability to collaborate across an organization at all levels
  • Solid understanding of marketing analytics, CRM software, and digital marketing platforms
  • Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
  • Ideally this person would be East Coast based, preferably in the NY metropolitan area

Pay Range

$200,000 - $250,000 USD
