Product Marketing Manager, Atlas Platform

United States (Remote)

About the Company

Armada is an edge computing startup that provides computing infrastructure to remote areas where connectivity and cloud infrastructure is limited, as well as areas where data needs to be processed locally for real-time analytics and AI at the edge. We’re looking to bring on the most brilliant minds to help further our mission of bridging the digital divide with advanced technology infrastructure that can be rapidly deployed anywhere.

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help define, position, and scale Atlas. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and go‑to‑market, with a primary focus on translating Armada’s Atlas Platform capabilities into clear, differentiated value for enterprise and public‑sector customers.

This is a hands‑on, operating PMM role—not a pure content or launch‑only function. You will deeply understand how Atlas works (enterprise scale management of connectivity, networking, orchestration, deployment, and operations in the cloud and at the edge) and turn that complexity into compelling positioning, messaging, and GTM execution.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with highly technical products, thrives in ambiguity, and wants meaningful ownership over how a category‑defining edge platform is understood, sold, and adopted.

Location: United States (Flexible)

What You’ll Do

Product Marketing & Platform Positioning (Primary Focus)

  • Own positioning and messaging for Atlas
  • Translate Atlas features and vision into clear customer value propositions
  • Define ICPs, buyer personas, use cases, and customer journeys for edge‑driven deployments
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering on roadmap narrative, packaging, and feature launches
  • Lead platform and feature launches with strong internal readiness and external clarity
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and work across GTM and Product to come up with the unique value proposition for Atlas.

Atlas Use Cases & Vertical GTM

  • Develop use‑case‑driven messaging for industries needing Atlas, including but not limited to emergency management, oil & gas, mining, utilities, telcos, and manufacturing
  • Map Armada Atlas platform capabilities to real‑world operational, security, and deployment challenges
  • Support vertical or segment‑specific GTM motions with Sales and Solutions Engineering

Go‑to‑Market & Sales Enablement

  • Build sales enablement assets that clearly explain what Atlas does, where it fits, and why it wins
  • Create pitch narratives, messaging frameworks, solution briefs, and competitive positioning
  • Partner with Sales, SEs, and Customer Success to support pipeline creation and deal acceleration
  • Ensure consistent, technically accurate messaging across the field

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing
  • Incorporate customer and field feedback into positioning and roadmap narratives
  • Support analyst briefings and market education around edge computing and distributed infrastructure

Market & Customer Insight

  • Engage directly with customers to understand edge deployment challenges and buying drivers
  • Track competitive platforms in edge computing and infrastructure
  • Help shape how the market understands Armada’s edge strategy and differentiation

What Success Looks Like

  • Clear, credible messaging that demystifies edge computing and Atlas
  • Sales teams confidently articulating value in complex, technical buying cycles
  • Product launches that drive adoption and engagement
  • Strong pull from Product, Sales, and SE teams as a trusted GTM partner

Required Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of experience in product marketing or related roles
  • Experience marketing technical platforms, ideally with background in communications, networking, drones, and/or edge computing
  • Proven ability to translate complex products into customer‑centric messaging
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration with Product and Engineering
  • Comfort operating in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in engineering, infrastructure, networking, or technical pre‑sales
  • Familiarity with edge deployment models and hybrid environments
  • Experience selling to enterprise, government, or regulated industries
  • Exposure to early‑stage or high‑growth platform companies

Why This Role at Armada

  • Ownership of how a category‑defining edge platform is positioned and sold
  • Deep partnership with Product and Engineering
  • Opportunity to shape an emerging market
  • Clear growth path into senior PMM or GTM leadership roles

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
